"The staff there is great. The property is in need of some repair work. Our room and the room next to us flooded the first night we were there. The staff was wonderful about accommodating us and getting everything cleaned up. The building is just starting to show some wear and tear that needs to be addressed."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The mountain views were beautiful. There was plenty of room for our family of 23. The pool & hot tub were a hit for all ages! The host was amazing and responded very quickly to our needs. We would definitely book this place again."

"We loved the real log cabin experience. The bedrooms were nice and plenty of beds to choose from. I missed the detail that there is no AC! Didn't know it until we arrived, but at night we were ok with fans, just a bit warmer than we would choose to be. When you're at the cabin, there is no cell service or WiFi. The creek makes a beautiful sound, and with all the windows open, you can hear it easily. The cabin has a distinct barn wood smell which took me back to my childhood, playing in my parents' barns. The well water does have the sulfur smell, which isn't too bad for me, but my son & husband had a hard time with it. Also very little water pressure, a common well water issue. Large selection of DVDs, books, and games.I appreciated the antique decor, and reading the history of the cabin in the guest book. Overall nice stay."

"We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed. Great location...just a short walk into the town of Hot Springs. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch...watching the mist roll over the mountains in the distance, and at night we could see the lightning bug show."
