"The Journey Inn is a delightful Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts, Val and Eric, were wonderful and their suggestions on everything from dining choices to what to do and when to do them were all spot on! I suggest that you seek their advice before you travel so that you don't have to make any last minute changes! Just a few of their helpful suggestions: Go to the FDR Museum earlier in the day. It will take several hours if you do it right. Also, wear a sweater. They keep it rather cool inside. We did the FDR house on one day, the museum on the second day. I suppose you could reverse this. Thank you Val and Eric!!"

"Everything was lovely but the wifi. Really unreliable and weak. I heard from others that service in the area was not good. My telephone could barely get a signal from the service that my home provider (videotron, excellent) uses in the US : T-Mobile. I got one bar at best. The wifi of the hotel never worked at all. (I didn’t report it or ask for help, we were just there for one night…) However the stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was quite adequate. The room was very quiet and we slept very well."

"Kevin was very friendly, kindly assisting us with check-in (even when we even gave limited notice about our arrival time!) and giving us a tour of the garden and his property grounds. While he lives upstairs, he was entirely non-intrusive during our stay. A really beautiful property in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The rental unit had everything we needed, was very clean, and offered a fun little escape into a DJ dream respite."

"We don't usually leave reviews, but felt this house and its hosts deserved one. To start, the location was perfect, an easy drive from the city and a ten-minute drive to Rhinebeck, where we found an amazing choice of independent shops, eateries, and friendly locals. The property, well, where to start? We could write pages about this place, but for the purpose of a review, this is easily the most beautiful, well-designed, and extremely well-equipped property we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that attention to detail was on point. It was immaculate. The kitchen was so well-equipped, and obviously a lot of thought has gone into self-catering - there was nothing we couldn't find. To add, the record player was a nice touch in the evenings. The bedrooms are beautiful, with great showers and baths that look over stunning views, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we will most definitely be back and next time we will be using the jacuzzi!"

"This is a clean, well-appointed, historic home on a lovely property.We found the Farm at Hyde Park to be a beautiful, unique, and comfortable setting for a birthday getaway for my daughters and me. We stayed three days and hiked Ferncliff Forest and the Poet's Walk trail, visited Rhinebeck, Wappinger Falls, and Tivoli. Oh, and we went to Elk Ravine Farm in Amenia on our way home. All that to say, the home is perfectly situated for some wonderful adventures and days out. But the Farm at Hyde Park offers much more. We had a few lovely meals at the dining table, slept comfortably in the two bedrooms, hung out in the super-airy living room, read about the church's history, and walked the property easily with our pup. We also took a walk down the road to check out Crum Elbow Creek. Glen was the perfect host, welcomed us warmly, and gave us some extra background on the place, was available but respectful of our privacy. Thank you, Glen!"

"This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our weekend stay. There were wonderful farm items left for us to enjoy and samples from local purveyors. There was a very helpful guide of various things to do in the area which is how we learned about the Milea Estate Vineyard. It was beautiful and would highly recommend. We also enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor deck. We are already talking about returning soon!"
