Fabulous Florida Keys outdoor living! 1br/2bath sleeps 4. Luxury living inside & out. Spend your days swimming in the deep waters of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico or under the palms in the fresh water swim spa which is solar heated in the winter and shaded and cool in the summer. Enjoy evenings overlooking spectacular sunsets from the waterfront patio. Deep water dockage on the gulf with easy access to the ocean (available for additional charge). Outdoor marble wet bar with many amenities. Marble tables for outdoor dining, charcoal & gas grill on your private patio. Acadia kayak, washer and dryer. Lighted outdoor ping pong table, marble fish cleaning table.
Your home has 2 queen beds, custom woodwork, central vacuum & tile throughout. Sleeps 4 in air-conditioned comfort. Full kitchen inside in addition to outdoor kitchen and bar with oven & broiler and its amenities. One bath inside with another air-conditioned bath including bidet outside by the swim spa (both have large walk-in showers). Hardwired cable internet, Free WI-Fi, ePrint services available, Filtered drinking water, electronic safe, 40” LED HDTV with wireless apps including Pandora and Netflix all powered by Bose home theater speakers.
End of street privacy, while still conveniently located to everything. 5 restaurants are located within walking distance (.02 miles). 14 acre community park (.03 miles), with lighted tennis courts, skate board park, basketball, soccer, amphitheater, exercise trails & playground.
Outdoor facilities and common areas for the property are shared by the owner.

Location was perfect 2 streets away from the boat ramp couldn't ask for better accommodations everything you could possibly need and more. First time we ever stay where the host lived on the same property, was a little concerned at first but Moffett was very nice and accommodating. Not your usual rental. This one has a great host that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This place is off the path a bit, so you feel very safe weather you are there or not. There is a great sunset view and nice little pool to relax in. I will definitely try to stay here again.

Amazing Stay

Muffet is an outstanding host. The property has everything you would need and more. The sunsets are stunning. Marathon is in the middle of the keys so you can get to Key Largo or Key West in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend!!

Summer Stay 2024

Fantastic property and accommodations with superb views of the gulf coast. Sunsets were amazing. Owner made sure things were right and the stay was enjoyable. Marathon Key is centrally located in the keys, so our day trips to Key West, surrounding Keys and Everglades National Park were not all day car rides. Without hesitation we definitely stay here again.

Cathartic Getaway

Came for a week over Christmas after the passing of my father. Muffet and her piece of paradise was exactly what this Daddy’s girl needed. We rented bikes locally and used them to investigate Marathon and even took them to Key West for a day as well. We enjoyed all the local restaurants but the Stuffed Pig was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. We will definitely stay with Muffet again in the future.

A Hidden Gem

This was our first trip to Marathon and we are excited to have discovered Muffett’s place! Her property is beautiful and secluded. The apartment is well stocked, clean and comfortable. Hidden Gem

We chose this location for our Honeymoon, could not have asked for a better spot. The property manager skipped nothing when it came to our stay, bottle of wine for us when we arrived, everything was very clean and neatly organized. Full kitchen made our stay even better as we were able to cook our catch from the dock on the property. Beautiful sunsets almost every night, an array of wildlife from iguanas to manatees to a few sharks. If we ever get the chance to get away again we will most definitely be staying here.

Oh the ambiance!

If your goal is to relax and enjoy the outdoors this is absolutely the place! Wonderful waterfront property with many seating options overlooking the gulf. We stayed on the property for most of our time and enjoyed the deep water for fishing. We relished in the fantastic sunsets and then walked to area restaurants or took advantage of the well stocked kitchen and grills to eat in. Muffett is a wonderful host, such a warm hearted person who sincerely wants to see people be happy. When we go back to the Keys we will not hesitate to book here again!

A little slice of magic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Marathon, Fl. Muffet’s place is pure magic. She is right on the water with a cute little place (it honestly is much larger than it looks in the photos), a great outdoor area with small soaking pool, ping pong, outdoor bar, and numerous clusters of chairs for socializing and just relaxing taking in the sunsets. Muffet was also amazing, giving us advice and being a gracious host. She became a friend while we were there. I will miss our relaxing days when home. If you love the Jeys and are looking for the most beautiful place to unwind, this is the place!

We couldn't have found a better place to stay when we visited the Key's! Located in Marathon, we were close to both Key West and Key Largo and all the other Keys in between. Our hostess was so gracious and kind, she had answers about everything in the area .The accommodations were great, had everything you needed or didn't know you needed. Clean and comfortable. And the views.....breathtaking . Sunset was the favorite time of our nights. Great location also. Quiet. In walking distance of a few restaurants and park. When we visit the Keys again, this is where we will return to.

A Breeze in the Keys

This was our second time staying at Muffet's place. She is a most gracious host and has become a friend. The rental is clean and comfortable and so easy to feel at home in. Once you step outside and take in the beautiful views and amazing sunsets, you know that you have walked out into paradise. We were able to grill, fish from the point every evening and load up on a few snappers, and soak in the pool while watching the sun set. This trip we were greeted by a manatee along with the neighborhood iguana, ducks and doves. Its a great place to escape the craziness of the Keys and just sit back and relax. We can't wait till we can return.

Winter Getaway

The Pros: Muffett was very good with communicating and giving recommendations. The location was good and we were able to walk to several excellent restaurants. The unit was very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The view from the property was gorgeous. It is also beside a commercial marina so you could sit and watch the stone crab and lobster boats make their way in and out of the marina. My husband and I did a little fishing and even saw a manatee. The Cons: The bedroom was so small and the bed was very low which made it difficult to get in and out for us senior citizens. Also, the the space had an odd layout and placement of furniture. You could only watch tv from one of the two small couches which were not very comfortable. When the weather is bad you tend to stay inside so this was an issue. In addition, we could never get the sliding glass door to lock. There is a very large outdoor area however all of the furniture was dirty and needed to be cleaned. We used our beach towels to help. The walk out to the point was very challenging. The walkway was uneven from the stones popping up out of the ground. Very easy to trip so caution was needed. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs because the commercial boats start up early in the morning. It is also on the flight path for the local airport. After exploring Marathon for the week I did feel the price was too high and will stay elsewhere next time.
