The house definitely needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance done. There was absolutely no cold water. The location is good. It takes about an hour to key West or islamorada. Publix and Walgreens are very close, just a couple minute walk. The listing says 5 minute walk to sombrero beach, more like 30-45 minutes one way. We did see manatee in the canal behind the house!! The pool was really nice. There are 4 beds and only 2 throw blankets in the whole house. The kitchen sink handle did fall off but the maintenance guy came the next day to put it back on. Overall the house did the job but wouldn't stay there again.

#### One problem after another vacation stay

Prior to booking this stay I disclosed I had three small dogs under 15 pounds along with two boats that we were bringing on vacation. Apparently both were a problem once we checked in but the owner/property manager never said anything to us until we got there. Within 24 hours things started to go wrong with tub drains backing up, faucet falling off the kitchen sink, gate lock to main pool broke and other pool gate is in major need of repair which was a real safety issue with our small children. Our first night we all looked for a blanket for our beds and not one bed blanket was to be found. The next morning we were dropped off a bag from Dollar General with one samll blanket and two used lap blankets filled with hair. OMG!!! The kitchen was ill equipped with disgusting trays, one dirty cutting board and lacking serving trays, salad bowels, NO Potholders and one old dish towel for the week. After burning two meals on the stove we figured out stove is not working properly and burners cook on one setting only- high. The home is in a wonderful location but home is poorly maintained, dirty furnishings, soiled carpet on staircase and lack of good property management and cleaning. Not the vacation we had hoped for with the maintenance man coming by everyday to take care of another issue.

This house could be a very nice vacation home for families or anyone, but unfortunately this house is not being kept up to what it is being advertised. It is not clean at all. This place needs a deep cleaning and the home needs to repairs done correctly instead of cheaply.

We were surprised it was a duplex. No kayacks but listed on amenities. Needs updated furniture and a good cleaning. Loved the pool and dock for boat. Kitchen well stocked and beds comfortable. Overall a good vacation spot.

#### Spring Break Heaven

This property was everything we needed for our Spring Break out of the frozen tundra and into paradise! Perfectly located, with bikes for the teenagers to get to the beach and go shopping without worry! Fishing was excellent, there were manatee in the canal behind the house, and the pool was perfect for our daughter to hang out in all week! With shopping so close, running for a refill of anything was no big deal! Marathon is an incredible place to vacation and this house was everything we needed!

Great location in Marathon. House comfortably slept our group of 7\. Pool was nice and having a washer dryer was great. When we arrived the microwave handle and kitchen sink faucet were held together by duck tape. The bikes had flat tires and no pump to pump them up. They did drop off 2 additional bikes for us to use.

Pros: convenient location, comfy beds, nice pool & pool area (plenty of chairs and shade), new washer, dryer & dishwasher, great neighborhood for biking, balcony off of the living room, shaded carport, open floor plan, good-sized kitchen. Cons: local maintenance man is kind of rude, a few things are broken (kitchen faucet handle, micro handle, TP dispenser), poor shower pressure due to oversized shower heads, and needs a deep cleaning.

#### Keys mini season

Property manager allowed us to get in early which was nice while they cleaned. Nice new home. Clean pool. Updated appliances. Could use backup toilet paper, towels for bathroom, maybe some Tupperware oh and a couple blankets. They provided laundry soap, trash bags, couple board games, flat screens in every room, salt and pepper, baby chair if you need one, new grill, bikes are a bit rusted up and guey grips, there are blow ups for the pool and bait freezer out back. The house is located at the very end of the canal which is a plus if you dont like wake and enjoy privacy or a negative if you like to get out in a rush. We timed it 24 minutes booze cruise out of the canals but peaceful ride, you get to see all the houses. All n all nice place.

#### Nice place but wouldn’t stay again for the price

Nice place but lacked routine maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness. Entire place needed deep cleaning. Had to clean bathrooms and floors first. Outdoor grill was unusable and we had to buy parts to be able to use, animals in trash cans every night as there were no lids, outdoor freezer was unusable for food and could be used for bait only, couple kitchen appliances were broken, patio furniture was really rusted, patio side table falling apart, kitchen faucet broke (George came to fix), small bedroom lamps had to be unplugged to turn off, refrigerator/freezer shelves broke. We had to repair toilet paper holder as it was broke, the vanity knob, and hang upstairs closet door back on. Wouldn’t stay there again.

#### Maintenance Needed - not clean

Not as clean as it should be, when I did call George about this he came to see what I was referring to , ( baby bottle with milk found under tv, coffee stains on cabinets, filthy trash bin) Refrigerator was very loud, blender was cracked could not be used, handle on kitchen faucet was broken. Water pressure was minimal especially in master bath. No bikes were provided as stated in description , when I called George he finally agreed to bring a few. Overall we had a good vacation but I wouldn’t rent this house unless the owner does a major cleaning and maintenance.

#### Very Disappointed to say the least!

This property did not meet the expectation of the price! And to be honest it was very embarrassing as we spent this kind of money and our friends showed up and it was terrible. Coming from being a VRBO owner this house failed to meet the basic necessities. It did not have bath towels, beach towels, paper towels, dish soap (then some was brought that was watered down) and adequate silverware (All these items were listed as being apart of our stay). The carpet on the stairs was awful, it was supposed to be tan but was almost black (we were told after our stay with were getting new carpet), the floors looked swept but not vacuumed or mopped. We could see sticky spots. Basically we stayed in a dirty expensive house. 2 of the 4 bikes worked. Hope they can turn things around...could really be an enjoyable place.

#### This property could be great- but it is not

When we arrive there were no toiletries. Not even a role of paper towels to hold us over to the next day. There were only 4 spoons for a 4 bedroom home and they had to be run thru the dishwasher before use. They were not clean. There was only one dish towel for entire week. The bottom bedroom had so much dog hair in the blankets that after washing 2xs there was still hair. Allot did come out though, proved by when we went downstairs our car was coated with dog hair as it was parked under vent. There were stains on our sheets, the bikes were rusting and not operable. There was a place to clean fish with no running water by it. Couch was filthy with stains. What was nice- it is on a very busy road however, house is built great. Well insulated. High ceilings, crown molding. You could not hear traffic at all. This is an example of an owner or investment group being very greedy. They charge allot and put no money back in the property to keep it nice. Oh- and when we returned home, the food we brought had ants in everything, so we had to throw it all away.

#### This place was just OK

The property has what appears to be long term maintenance and cleaning issues. The appliances had problems. Kitchen sink faucet handle broken. Refrigerator was very loud. Microwave handle broken. Many lightbulbs were out in canned ceiling lights. The kitchen supplies dishes,utensils, etc. very limited.The sofas were TERRIBLE - DIRTY, AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The sunset was beautiful, but the sun is so blinding, without curtains or blinds, it was hard to enjoy. The owners changed the cable tv to streaming without notifying us. When we called they did come out with a bag full of Fire Sticks, power supply and remotes. They were in the house about half a day doing the conversion. George, the maintenance man was responsive but did not fix a lot of the items (fridge, microwace, sink, light bulbs,, etc) stating he would fix them after we left. This place needs to be updated, replenished, and cleaned top to bottom. The location is good, but everything else could be so much better. We did enjoy our stay regardless of these issues but it was not worth the cost and we will not rent there again.

#### Great accomodations, location, value for our money!!

We had a group of nine and everyone was comfortable. The pool was perfect. Great spot to park our boat trailer and vehicles. Docking for our boat was amazing. Convenient to stores restaurants etc. Really couldn't have asked for anything more.

#### Clean nice house for the money

The house was centrally located at mile marker 50 in Marathon with super close convenience stores gas stations and restaurants. Pool was clean the dock was nice. The house was adequate for eight adults with four bedrooms and three baths. The only negative was the 25 to 30 minute boat ride from our dock to open water.

#### Duplex in the keys for mini season

I'll start with positives...comfortable beds, close to the beach and less than a block from grocery stores, roomy enough for the 5 of us (not sure how it would work for 10 ppl), fairly well stocked kitchen (except for utensils..mostly spoons). Negatives... this is a duplex, meaning if you have people next door they may use your parking and dock space, which is what happened to us, the place needs major upkeep and a good cleaning, there was dog hair in the sliding doors, couch, pillows and sheets with wear stains, the pool had papers and lots of leaves at the bottom, grass was overgrown, the ac filter was covered in gray nastiness, things falling apart like toilet paper holder and sink faucet. One afternoon I arrived after being out all day looking forward to hanging out at the pool and the lawn maintenance people were there cutting grass and trees which I feel could have been scheduled for a date when no one was using the place perhaps.
