"We had so much fun in Taipei especially staying in Hotel East for the whole month. Our room was tiny but manageable. The staffs were amazing. Great breakfast everyday. Easy access to take MRT from, and close to Raohe Night Market. Just one statin away. Anyway, If we may say for the upper space/laundry room/rooftop does need to be cleaned up more cus it has so much potential in that floor, we could see the city from there and it was beautiful at night time. Oh one more thing, we don't think it is a good idea to use carpet for the floor. Taiwan is very humid, cant imagine the mold grows in there. Tiles or rocks or even concrete are better. Would we stay there if we back to Taipei? Absolutely! "
"I truly enjoyed my stay in the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei. Stayed in a room in 8th floor for 3 nights.
Hotel facilities and amenities are all of excellent quality and thoughtful for guests. Room is fitted with an unusually generous walk-in wardrobe, a delightful surprise for a female traveller like me. Bathroom is also very spacious, high ceilings and built with solid materials.
Mattress is hard enough to my liking and pillows are comfortably soft. My back didn't play up that says something.
All staff I've come across are super polite and helpful, from front desk staff, concierge, doorman to breakfast restaurant staff and cleaning lady.
I pre-booked a pickup from local metro station when I arrive. Driver turned up right on time and is very friendly. He also kindly arranged for me a drop-off to the metro station for my next journey to Taichung. It went smoothly.
Breakfast are fresh. Not overly spoiled with choices but foods are of good quality just like everything else. Beef noodle is delicious. The mochi cheese tart I had on Monday was a die-for. It was a pity that they only served it once during my stay.
The hotel is situated at North side, slightly off city fringe. Not far from the Gu Gong National Museum.
Grand Mayfull Hotel has certainly made its way to my top 3 "return hotels" list for future stays in Taipei.
Already are planning for my next visit!

"The Grand Hyatt in Taipei dates back several decades but it has been well maintained and renovated over the years. As a result, it feels quite new and the facilities are modern and in many cases quite beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained (and clean). Their standard King room isn't luxurious, but it's comfortable and well-outfitted. Very close to the 101 Tower and other shopping outlets. Adjacent to convention center. Superb breakfast buffet and various other restaurants as well."
"I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful with my specific requests.
The room was spotless and spacious with a great view of Taipei 101. The bed was super comfortable with high-quality linens. The housekeeping team did an excellent job each day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. One of the highlights was the breakfast – delicious, fresh, and with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. I highly recommend it whether you are traveling for pleasure or business! "
