Based off of this we decided not to eat any meals at the restaurant, but there are lots of good options within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We had an ocean garden room which was spacious with a beautiful view and balcony. The property is gorgeous and you cannot beat the location." The biggest problem is the hotel room walls are paper thin so we could clearly hear normal volume conversations taking place in the next room as well as lots of noise from the baby and toddler, waking us up multiple times during the night and noisy throughout the day as well. You can hear doors opening and closing very loudly in the next room, too. The hotel does not provide basic coffee condiments in the room or in the lobby; I requested a simple dry packet of creamer, or a bit of milk, or anything for my coffee (coffee that I brought myself), and was told it's not provided. This is not what I expect from a 4-star hotel. The swimming pool (we went to Pool A twice) has a nice ocean view but otherwise it is a basic small square pool with discolored, old chairs and no ambiance at all. No music, no service, no umbrellas, no towels. Finally, be aware that the overall property consists of many buildings that are spread out from each other; our building in "Area D" had zero amenities; we had to either drive our rental car or request a shuttle ride if we wanted to go to the pool, go to the restaurants on the property, or get to Area E from which you can walk a steep path to the beach.
