Good location opposite the rail station but with a back entrance onto a main route to the old city. The room was clean and comfortable. The safe didn't work

Convenient spot

The place is conveniently located by the station, nice-looking and the staff war really lovely and helpful. The room is not very soundproof and the hotel was busy and noisy during my stay. The room was slightly smelly, in the way hostels can be.

Good beds, small bathroom

Room was clean and good, big with 4 beds in total (one of them double) The major problem was the small bathroom, where the shower was less then 180cm (6foot) high. And the shower area also very small.

Tutto molto bello e curato MA: per chiarezza verso chiunque possa leggere questa recensione, sappiate che in tutto il palazzo e nell’isolato confinante, si trovano VARIE proprietà dell’hotel Mantegna. Non solo Hotel Mantegna Stazione ma anche “A casa dei Gonzaga” ed altre forme di ospitalità che fanno tutte capo a loro. Quando appare su Expedia o altro portale che se si alloggia altrove, poi occorra andare a fare check-in e colazione al Mantegna Stazione come se fosse un noioso adempimento in più al quale sottoporsi, sappiate che si tratta solo di attraversare, al massimo, un cortile pedonale. Tutto ciò non viene minimamente detto anticipatamente dalla struttura. Io avevo prenotato A casa dei Gonzaga che ho disdetto perché avevo ricevuto una mail in cui mi si diceva che tutto si sarebbe dovuto fare al Mantegna stazione e ciò mi ha scoraggiato; ho riprenotato quindi qui, pagando di più. Sono certo che A casa dei Gonzaga avrei avuto una sistemazione altrettanto bella, forse anche più bella e spaziosa dalle immagini che avevo visto… e la colazione l’avrei potuta fare serenamente attraversando questo cortile. Tutto questo pagando meno. Solo che nessuno me l’aveva spiegata così…

God beliggenhed

Hotellet ligger godt placeret i Mantova med gåafstand til den gamle bydel. Personalet var venlige og imødekommende, men hotellet var gammelt og lidt slidt. Vores værelse lå lige ud til en meget trafikeret vej, og der var meget larm derfra natten igennem.
