Perfect for a romantic getaway or for family time. The home has views from the large living room that is perfect for lounging, playing board games or reading a book. Also enjoy ocean views from the main bedroom or while eating at the dining table. Note: 5 guest capacity maximum Pet fee $75 (max 2 pets) Great for friends, couples or families with little ones or a pet, with ample room to spread out and enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean from different rooms. The home is 2100 square feet on 0.6 acres. It has lots of windows that brings the outdoors in. Drink your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine on the deck, where you can enjoy ocean views and feel the ocean breeze. Sit on the window seat with a great book while overlooking the ocean, or sit in the office with your laptop, and enjoy the deer roaming around and the ocean view. There is also a peaceful sitting area in the main bedroom with ocean views. If you like to barbecue, bring your steaks or veggie burgers and grill it on the propane barbecue in the fenced in back patio. There is also a kitchen equipped with a double oven, a 5 burner gas range with stainless steel cook wear and oil, salt and pepper and spice mixes available. If you prefer a night out, plan to visit one of restaurants in Elk, which is 15 minutes north. The area has a Michelin Star restaurant and there are some other very good eateries in the area that are putting Mendocino County and Northern California coast on the foodie map. Wine lovers should plan a stop at one of the many tasting rooms in the Anderson Valley along Hwy 128\. Pick up a bottle of wine to enjoy with the sunset. For the animal lovers, check out the animal preserve, located 15 minutes south, in Point Arena. If you are in the mood for walking on sandy beaches, use the card provided to access the private beach. The sandy beach is perfect for walking the dog, Exploring the tide pools, collecting driftwood or flying a kite. Or, just enjoy the great and peaceful Pacific Ocean! If you have little ones, a full sized crib and pack ’n play is available (please bring your own blanket). There is also a high chair and booster seat. Want to get away but need to work remotely? The house is equipped with a desk overlooking the ocean and high speed internet, that is capable for Zoom meetings. Please note that our home is located in the wilderness. There are deer and other animals that may be roaming the neighborhood. We want you to be comfortable. We do our best to ensure that the house is clean and there are no pests. Much larger than we expected from the pictures and the pictures do not do the ocean view justice at all. From the living room and deck off the kitchen you have a full 180 degree view of the ocean. Truly stunning. The beach to which the host provides gate access was fantastic with some very neat driftwood structures. ##### Brendan M. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the wildlife as well as the view. I wouldn’t call this a luxury home but it was clean and lovely and met our needs. It states it sleeps 5 but the futon and sofa are maybe not the most comfortable for adults. The home has white tile and white carpet throughout, so very light and airy! The only kitchen appliances we would have loved to have there were a full size coffee pot and a blender. The owner and the property manager were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the location, so close to so many beaches and hiking areas. The house layout was amazing with such beautiful views . Wildlife was everywhere!! Deer, Quail families, and birds that continually serenading us from the great trees surrounding the house. we enjoyed walking around the little lake up the street. The only negatives were the blinds and the burners on the stove. We ended up using 1 out of 4or 5 because it was the only one that worked well. The front deck was amazing to sit and relax and watch the sunset. I would definitely recommend choosing this as a home base for exploring the area!! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Hosts are great and extremely helpful. The best part of the house are the big windows and epic views. Also the access to the beach is amazing although the private road down to the beach is very very steep so may only be appropriate for awd vehicles and it’s very steep for walking. Nice view to the ocean. The private beach is one of the best on the coast. Our only problem was due to our arrival after dark. The street-side house number sign is not readable when approaching the house due to its orientation. The number is also posted on the house itself, but the numbers are rather small and non-reflective. Cell service in the area is weak like most parts of the north coast (once settled in, the WiFi assist for the phone was excellent.) Unfortunately, our phone's GPS could not keep up with our location, making for some confusion when trying to zero in on the house in the dark. ##### Richard G.
