"This place is all about the view. Stunning. But you will have to walk up a billion stairs (or a long, steep ramp) to get there. True for most places in Manarola, but could be hard for those with mobility issues. It was a nice touch they provided a light breakfast for the first morning. The lack of a/c was rough, despite the sea air. It was very humid. Ceiling fans did help some. The water pressure in the shower was the best in Italy. "Terrible room, tiny place, I fell down the stairs because they were so narrow, place smelt funny and cost a fortune. Not worth the money at all. I sent through a formal complaint to Hotels.com and got no response."

"Jack's Tale is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The host had the apartment well stocked and with nice bedding and towels. It was updated with quality items, not an IKEA make over of things falling apart. Communication was really good and we felt the host could be relied on if something came up. The location is the BEST!
