Fantastic holiday. Accommodation was as described and more than I expected. I would definitely be back. The area is beautiful and a short work to the center. My view over booked the pool which was beautiful.

On arrival, our room floor was not very clean and had hair on it. However, the bed and room were otherwise tidy, and the daily cleaning and fresh towels were good. As we are deaf, we were disappointed with the lack of help and communication from staff. No one offered us a map, local information or advice about day trips, so we had to organise everything ourselves. A little more support and accessibility for deaf guests would have made a big difference. The pool was nice but could have been cleaner, as there appeared to be oil/sun cream in the water. Breakfast had a good variety, although the layout was inconvenient, with bread and cakes at one end and plates, butter and jam at the other. Our biggest concern was the storm and power cut. We were on the 7th floor and had to use the stairs in the dark. The emergency lights did not appear to work, which made us feel very unsafe. This needs urgent attention, as proper emergency lighting and backup power are essential. Overall, there were some good points, but the hotel needs to improve cleanliness, communication with deaf guests and, most importantly, emergency safety.

Good hotel,still a little way to go to being great

The room was ok, clean & nice view. I arrived the first day the hotel opened so they still have a bit to do but the staff are welcoming & helpful with anything i asked for. The rooms are quite basic no tea/coffee or water provided. There is still work going on in the hotel in preparation for the season ahead it was a bit noisy in the corridor with men working. The hotel is far from polished but they are working in the right direction, I think they will need more staff once the season gets busier.

The food was very pricey for the hotel. The bed was very comfy. The staff were kind when I saw them but there didn’t seem to be many people working. The pool was great, but had big clumps of hair in the bottom. Overall a wonderful experience.

La atención del personal del hotel fue muy buena. La limpieza de las habitaciones excelente. Las habitaciones son modernas. El parqueo había muy pocos para estacionar y tuvimos muchas veces que estacionar en la calle detrás del hotel donde la calle era terrible. La bebida del Hotel me parece un poco cara con los precios.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels ist sehr gut. Es ist alles sehr modern gehalten, der Poolbereich ist sehr ruhig und läd zum Entspannen ein. In den Zimmern sind super bequeme Betten vorhanden!! Ein großer Pluspunkt 👍 Zur Innenstadt Porto Cristo mit Restaurants, Bars etc. sind es ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß. Im Badezimmer waren bei uns schon einige marode Stellen zu erkennen, hier könnte das Hotel kontinuierlich nachbessern um alles gut und modern Instandzuhalten. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war, dass man am Abreisetag für die Dusche pro Person 5€ bezahlen soll. Somit sind wir in ein anderes Hotel gegangen, wo wir kostenlos duschen dürften. Alles in allem ist das Hotel für diejenigen zu empfehlen, die preiswert einen guten Standard sucht.

Leider wurden wir von diesem Hotel enttäuscht. Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen und der Bilder hatten wir deutlich höhere Erwartungen. Besonders negativ ist uns der Umgang mit den Handtüchern aufgefallen. Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass Handtücher, die auf dem Boden liegen, wie in den meisten Hotels täglich ausgetauscht werden – zumal dies eigentlich auch die Regel im Hotel ist. Dennoch wurde dies in unserem Fall nicht umgesetzt. Stattdessen wurden unsere benutzten Handtücher einfach wieder zusammengelegt und erneut hingelegt. Das ist aus hygienischer Sicht absolut nicht akzeptabel. Nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption schien dieses Problem wohl bereits bekannt zu sein. Unverständlich fanden wir außerdem, dass Poolhandtücher nur gegen einen Aufpreis von 3 € gewechselt werden. Diese Regel wurde erst während unseres Aufenthalts eingeführt und hätte bereits vor der Buchung transparent kommuniziert werden müssen. Die Zimmer wirken in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer ist extrem klein, die Tür lässt sich wegen der Toilette nicht vollständig öffnen. Auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte nur eingeschränkt und roch unangenehm nach Abfluss. Das Frühstück bot zwar eine große Auswahl, qualitativ entsprach es jedoch nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir die schöne Poolanlage, die gute Lage mit schneller Anbindung ins Stadtzentrum sowie die schöne Umgebung mit ihren Buchten. Insgesamt hat das Hotel unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt.
