"This place is very dog friendly, but the rooms in the main hotel need a little upgrad. Some of the outlets did not work. No body wash in the shower. This might just been an oversight lots of shampoo. The last thing lots of activities in the rooms around us at 6am."

"This destination is perfect for an unforgettable vacation filled with emotional highlights. It features a rustic style, a clean and calm environment, and a cozy atmosphere. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a fireplace, a lobby with high ceilings, pleasant aromas, a gym, pools, a restaurant, and stunning mountain views. The kitchen is quite nice as well. The welcoming reception staff, including Andy and Alamedo, as well as Annabel in the restaurant, deserve special thanks for making each day of our stay smooth and enjoyable. Thank you."

"The Austria Hof is a charming place to stay in Mammoth—old world character but with modern amenities. I stayed here for 2 days in the summer. The front desk staff were engaging and kind. Room was super comfortable. I really appreciated the filtered water dispenser next to the front desk—perfect for filling water bladders and bottles before hiking. Also, it is conveniently located right on the Mammoth Trolley stop so no need to drive into town."

"The check-in and check-out process was extremely smooth, and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful (even though it was 1 or 2am when we arrived!). It had a very cute themed aesthetic but also had many modern upgrades like a very large TV, brand new furniture, and an extremely large 'mini' fridge. There were plenty of plugins and USB ports to charge all of our electronics. Many places to hang up wet clothes if you swam that day or went skiing in the snow. It seems they really paid attention to the little details and conveniences! The sheets, bathroom, and room in general were very clean. The only con is that there is no air conditioning, which now that I look back was made clear in the description, so that is not their fault. We went in peak summer so it was a little warm, but not unbearable, a nice rotating floor fan was provided in the room. Plenty of parking. The bar was very popular the night we tried to go, so we opted out...but that's not a bad thing. Overall a very great and affordable experience, 10/10 will book here again next time we visit Mammoth!!"
