Garden Cottage is located in the Yorkshire Wolds on the edge of the Settrington Estate, just 4 miles from the historic market town of Malton and centrally located for the tourist attractions of Scarborough, Filey, York and Helmsley. Formerly a tied cottage attached to Settrington Estate, the alterations and interior design of this detached property offer guests superb quality and boutique-style accommodation. There is a utility room which leads to a large kitchen with all the mod cons, and a large dining room with dual aspect views across the estate’s walled gardens, which takes in a beautiful view of the cottage’s own expansive grounds. A handy, en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor has been designed with accessibility in mind. The living room has a cosy cottage feel, with a real wood burner and logs supplied. Three bedrooms can be found on the first floor, two of which are en-suite, the third has use of the separate shower room, and all have been designed individually for your enjoyment. Beautiful cottage, absolutely huge with a large garden too.

Beautiful cottage, absolutely huge with a large garden too. Very comfortable for 8 friends, especially with the 4 bathrooms and a single toilet downstairs. We loved having the full dining table that we could all fit around both inside and outside. All of the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated, with every amenity we could want really. Nothing more we could have wanted! Close to the beach if you fancy a day out, and a trip to Malton for some nice food. It’s not super close to any pubs/shops etc that we found, so just bear this in mind, but it is set in an incredibly beautiful village so we weren’t too bothered about this!
