"Our room was spacious and very clean. Our beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was not that great but we came to sleep and not eat so that's ok. We'll be back next time we're in the area."
Riverside cabin, fly-fish for trout or just relax!
10/10 Excellent
"Tim is a wonderful host. He was easy to communicate with and responded quickly with answers to our questions. This lovely cabin was a perfect get away from the hustle of everyday life. All the necessities were provided and the cabin is well equipped with all that we needed. Such a peaceful relaxing place. The water levels were very high but I did manage to fish a few days and caught a few and missed more than a caught. Was a great place to get back into fly fishing after several years of not fishing. We will for sure be back to visit this little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you Tim for sharing such a special place with us."

"Lorraine was a very warm and friendly host. She answered my questions quickly. She helped me with all my needs. Her property is large and beautiful. It is very secluded, very peaceful. The sounds of the river made it seem like I was in a movie. I was very close to many attractions. The greatest moment came on our last day when Lorraine allowed us to pet and feed her horses. Overall it was a peaceful vacation and she was a wonderful person who did everything to make our experience great."
"Very nice beautiful home. Had a small issue in the dishes department with previous people who stayed put away dirty dishes but that's NOT the home owners fault, but just a heads up for the cleaner to maybe check that in the future. The young lady is doing very well at her job though! Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy a fire and fish while also being only a few steps from the home. Loved the layout and cozy feel. My father said a TV would be nice or even a radio. If you're not an electronics person this is the PERFECT getaway for you. Personally really enjoyed getting away from all the crazy of the world for a while. I also forgot to write in your book about our stay but this is exactly what I would have wrote! Thank you for being so kind and letting us use your home! Stay blessed! :)"

"Absolutely adorable property! Very clean, well taken care of, extra amenities that you normally won't find in a rental. The owners are wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend this unit. In the trees, beautiful, 2 porches to just sit and enjoy the sky, and a wonderful fire pit too! Very private area that made it so peaceful! We wished that we could have stayed longer than the 8 nights.. Best VRBO we have ever been to!"

"We had an amazing stay at the Tressel House on Trout River! Norma was an excellent host from start to finish. She answered all of our questions quickly before arrival, gave detailed directions with a map pin, and made everything stress-free. She respected our privacy while still checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you could think of — dishes, cookware, cleaning supplies, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even travel-size toiletries if you forgot something. The king bed in the master suite was extremely comfortable, and both bedrooms had TVs with streaming apps available. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the back deck listening to the peaceful sound of the Trout River flowing by. The property is very private with no neighboring houses nearby, making it the perfect relaxing getaway. The homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived were such a thoughtful touch and absolutely delicious! We would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to others. Highly recommend the Tressel House if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!"
