"Breakfast was fair but you couldn’t take back to room. The first night the heating until banged and work us up every time it turned on or off. Spoke to the front desk early am. By 4pm nothing had been done. Complained again and the afternoon staff jumped right on it and ended up moving us to another room. Much better second night. Casino was dead on Thursday. They closed down most of the tables, craps and roulette. Very disappointing. Food at restaurant was good and priced fair. Need to add we were at the players inn. Thought we were at the new hotel connected to the casino. Had about 8 rooms booked by family and no one was sure where they were. We ended up with 3 at the casino and 5 at the inn! Recommend being careful before booking with expedia. Would have paid more to be in the other hotel if I had realized. Our reservation said Casino Resort Inn! Also the handicap room we were assigned first had a bathtub! How do they expect a person to safely get into a tub with mobility issues! "
"We didn’t realize there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room. Coffee available downstairs, though.
Walls are thin and doors and don’t go down to the floor, so you can hear everything everywhere.
We were on the 3rd floor and could hear the band on the second floor very clearly.
But. The bed and the pillows were amazing!"
"Property is great for large groups that require private bathrooms. We were in town for a memorial service and 5 couples. The property was clean. Kitchen well equipped and very clean. High quality dishes. The owner communicated effectively and allowed early check in. Very accommodating. The property is old and the bedrooms are smaller with only a single king bed available. Our group didn’t mind queen and twin options. The beds were very comfortable (mattress toppers) nice bedding. The bathrooms were equipped with plush towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The living room and gas fireplace was lovely. Our visit was in April and the weather did not permit outside activities. I can’t comment on the pool or outer area. In general the property works well however it is a bit “old and tired” on the outside and could use some TLC. "

Amazing Adirondack Sunsets with Log Cabin Memories on Upper Chateaugay Lake

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The accommodations are very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was a king which made it even better! We have stayed in many Adirondack cabins and having a king bed is rare and truly appreciated! I am considering purchasing the same matress. I loved the living room furniture and all the decor. We were there on a cold weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the lake as much as we would have liked so I guess it's another trip during a warmer month! The cabin is very cozy and the fireplace was very much enjoyed by us and our dog. The cabin has everything you could need, toiletries and condiments and plenty of towels. It was my 60th birthday and host, Susan left me a gift which I truly appreciated as It was a magnet with a photo of the camp which I collect from all of our journeys. Susan is a great host and was very attentive to any needs we had. Thank you Susan for making my birthday special! "
