Amazing staff, great breakfast, perfect location
We had a 2 night stay and just loved this hotel. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The room was modern and clean, TV in mult. languages, and a mini bar. The breakfast was amazing as well - tons of options for fresh fruit, meat & cheeses, pastries, and freshly made omelettes. Would highly recommend.

Probably one of the best options to visit Malcesine and the lake. All rooms we had offered a beautiful lake view. The breakfast is generous and also the restaurant is quite good.

Good hotel on Semi private beach
Good hotel, in a private beach. The service is great, the restaurant offers good snacks and drinks. The only problem was that our room was extreme noisy which disrupted our sleep, you could hear everything in the adjoining rooms the hallway etc, and room service came really early to make up the room. Other than that is a great hotel for a holiday in Garda.

We stayed in the junior suite with a lake front view and our experience was phenomenal. The service was perfect and the hotel was conveniently located in the old center. The hotel has free paddle boards for their guests to use as well as two private sunbathing areas.

Great place to stay and explore the region. Less than 10 min walk to the castle, many restaurants, cafes and the cable car to Mount baldo. Right by the lake for water sports.

Everything was incredible the staff was very nice and helpful with the parking service in the bar and restaurant was quick and friendly and helpful the view was spectacular the cocktails were also very good you cannot go wrong staying at this property and I’ve stayed all over Italy and this is now one of my favorite places

Outstanding and incredible value!
This place completely surpassed every expectation! We stayed in the new building in one of the suites and I highly recommend it! The view, the comfort of the bed and the robes, the coffee bar outside our room - a truly magical experience. I look forward to returning!

Excellent hotel in the perfect location
From even before we arrived the service and welcome couldn’t have been better (we received a welcoming email with parking info etc a few days prior to our arrival). The hotel staff were fantastic, welcoming and personable. They couldn’t have been more helpful with an understated modesty. The hotel itself is spotless and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. We had arrived from a 4 star hotel in Florence and which didn’t even start to compare with the Lake Castello. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we would love to go back. Couldn’t fault it. On a separate note the beds were amazing.

hotel room was modern and had everything we wanted in it. Staff were all very friendly and helpful when we needed any info. location is perfect, easy walk into centre in 2 minutes, beach in 30 seconds.

Warm welcome, extremely helpful and friendly staff, free parking with plenty of space, excellent outdoor area, lake view, good restaurant and bar. And we received a free upgrade. Newly refurbished room (don't know if all or only some are). Highly recommended.

Best hotel room ever!
This was our first visit to the Italian lakes. The lovely manager at the hotel upgraded our room. It was the most beautiful hotel room I have ever stayed in, with breathtaking views. It brought me to tears! All the staff at the hotel are wonderful. We were only ther one night. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant - great food and warm, friendly service. We were so sad to leave and we are already planning to return.

Really nice hotel right on the lake
The hotel is extremely nice and right on the lake. The staff were really welcoming, even showing us personally to our room. We paid the extra for a lake view room which was well worth it. The views from our balcony were amazing. The breakfast is ok. Good as far as continental breakfast is concerned but if you like a cooked breakfast, there wasn't much choice. The evening dinner menu was good and if you eat in the downstairs restaurant, there is a 30% discount for guests.

Excellent hotel in wonderful position
Hotel Castello is a very pleasant modern hotel with spectacular views of rugged mountains on the other side of the lake. Breakfast was wonderful not only for the setting but for the variety of food - every possible fresh fruit, 3 different museli plus cereals with all sorts of seeds in bowls ( pumpkin, sunflower, ghia, goji berries, etc) and an actual honeycomb. Then they had cold meats, cheeses, croissants cakes, any cooked breakfast cooked to order. It was the best hotel breakfast we've experienced. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had two dinners in and the only criticism was that the portions were too big. Malcesine is at the prettiest end of Lake Garda and the hotel was at the edge of the town just beyond the castle so was quiet with a spacious car park, yet just five minutes from the centre. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Es war ein toller luxuriöser Aufenthalt im schicken neuen Gebäude in der Apex Suite. Vom super Duft im Treppenhaus über die schicke Einrichtung, flauschige Bademäntel und den mega Blick auf den See, alles richtig schön. Im UG konnte man sich jederzeit ein Getränk im Automaten ziehen (Kaffee, Cappucino, Wasser etc.) Was wir auch mehrmals genutzt haben, mit einem Kaffee auf der Terrasse die Surfer beobachten... Das Frühstück war sensationell, sehr gemütlicher Frühstücksraum, frisch gepresste Säfte, alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Einziger Vermutstropfen, die Sonne kam nie auf der Terasse bzw. Liegewiese an, da die Burg stets Schatten wirft. Im Sommer hat man das Problem vielleicht nicht, da die Sonne höher steht. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, man betritt quasi direkt die Altstadt von Malcesine. Das Hotel kann man sehr empfehlen, ein kleiner Pool wäre noch die Perfektion.

Geniale Lage, sehr freundlich und tolles Frühstück
Ruhig, sehr schöner Blick, quasi direkt am See (nur die Promenade ist zwischen Hotel und See) mit Badesteg. Ok, unser Zimmer war nicht gerade groß (16 qm), aber das stand in der Buchung und viel wichtiger: Ausgezeichnete, feste Matratze! Frühstücksbüffet war größer und abwechslungsreicher als erwartet, einzig das Kaffeeautomaten verwendet werden ist ein (kleiner) Wermutstropfen. Konnten unseren Plug-In Hybrid kostenlos laden - top. Würden wir im Nachhinein noch einmal das Hotel buchen? Ja!
