Lovely hotel right outside of Tangier medina that feels traditional yet has modern comforts. Helpful kind staff. Very nice breakfast. Nice pool. Nice outdoor lounge/terrace overlooking Medina and Straight of Gibraltar with evening entertainment. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a corporate stake looking hotel, this is not it. This hotel transports you to what appears to be a real Hollywood Moroccan set. The hotel is beautifully decorated and transports you in time. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable and provided a much needed rest. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the pool is spectacular.

We spent 6-nights here at this Riad which is higher up in the Médina: we were able to walk to the city centre. For our month long Moroccan holiday we decided to stay at quality Riads as they provide a reasonably authentic experience: our previous ones were great to terrific. This Riad is neither of those! We could go on for many lines in this review of the many frustrating times we endured here but we won’t because it might seem to many that such an establishment surely couldn’t be that useless: this one is. A couple of examples will suffice: we arrived & we taken to our room which didn’t look right as it didn’t match the description or reviews noted in Expedia. It took several ‘discussions’ to convince the operator that we would not tolerate a cold shower. The room was described as having ‘city views’: if you call 2 opening windows on our first floor facing out to a busy lane way with nonstop noise, facing solid walls as views then you have never travelled anywhere. The safe was useless & took multiple times to find a work around to get it operational. The breakfasts were far too sugary & commercial: no comparison to our past Riad experience. The bed was not ‘Queen size’ as advertised: probably a double at best; very uncomfortable. And another issue, without even thinking; the stupidly AC system had a light on it which illuminated the room, as though we had left the light on. Etc, etc, etc PS. No TV or kettle. In short: don’t stay here! Very poor Riad. GreyNomads

We had an excellent stay from A to Z! The property was clean and well maintained, and every member of the staff was incredibly helpful. From the valet and front desk to the waiters and chef, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We truly appreciate the entire team’s kindness and dedication. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, and we wish you continued success. We will certainly be back and would happily recommend this hotel to our friends and family!
