"Lovely beach, beautiful views. The unit itself was small, very dated, and lacked simple decent amenities. Coffee tasted like dark water - and this in Hawaii? Nothing in the pantry, not even salt and pepper. For the price, this is not a good value. If it were half the cost, it’s great. "

"Where do I even start. We moved to the island and needed a place to get settled into for 1 month before finding a permanent location. We had trouble with our original listing and Leon quickly accommodated us to his beautiful studio. The view is breathtaking, and the sounds of the ocean is calming. The building itself is extremely well-maintained and everyone is very friendly. We fell in love with the community and even got to enjoy a surf competition right outside our window. If we ever need a break from town, we will definitely be heading back here. Thanks for making it feel like home! "

"Sadly this was the poorest service of any vacation rental I've stayed in. There was no toilet paper, no hand soap, no hand towels, and the internet didn't work. We had to leave the rental early because of the historic floods in the area -- there are only two roads to the condo and one of them was already impassable due to the floods. The other road had moving water nearly up to our headlights too in several places. Not only did the host not reach out to check on us during the natural disaster, but they haven't responded to three messages since (asking for a partial refund due to the poorly stocked condo and internet problem). The sum impression of the condition of the condo (e.g. no toilet paper or soap) and the total lack of response is that these hosts are trying to profit on the property with as little effort as possible. We had leave that part of the island because of the floods and book another place. When we reached our next rental, our new host immediately reached out to check on us and the apartment because of the weather -- this shows concern for the guests and the property, and is the bare minimum I would expect from a Vrbo host. Still hoping for a response to my three messages :("

"The view from this condo was spectacular! The mountains were stunning in the changing weather! It did rain more than we hoped but we enjoyed the laundry facilities during our down time. Great place to stay!"

"This location is unmatched! We were completely solo on the beach both days that we were there, except for a napping sea lion! It's not a glamorous place to stay and you might encounter campers walking behind you while you enjoy your morning coffee on the deck; but if you go in with appropriate expectations, you'll love it! There is a grill to cook on and a microwave, no other ways to cook. We enjoyed the solitude of this location after two days in busy Waikiki!"

"Pros: the view was great and easy access to the beach but due to the storms most of the sand was washed away; there was parking for our car; the neighbors were friendly and helpful; it was a pretty quiet neighborhood; had all we needed in the kitchen except pot holders; washer and dryer was nice to have and worked great; rooms were nice and beds comfortableCons: the ac quit working three days into our stay; internet was very unreliable; roof over the porch desperately needed repairing; BBQ grill needed cleaning and was full of ash; back doors were extremely noisy opening and closing them and only way to lock them was a board wedged in the frame. All in all I would stay there again if all the Cons were amended."
