"Frau Bruehle was very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Excellent breakfast and helpful and efficient staff. Elevator/lifts were quiet and quick. Location in the Altstadt is good with easy main-road access and many restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the river."

"The hotel is very well equipped and the staff were courteous and helpful. My personal criticism is the rooms are poorly soundproofed and having the Gym on the top floor is not the best option. I could hear every dropped dumbbell. Such a shame as the location is great."

"The hotel is close to the busy Mainz train station and the neighborhood can be somewhat gritty. As a single woman traveling alone I felt somewhat uncomfortable that when I checked in on Sunday I needed to use the lockbox and enter into an empty reception area. We were also in another heatwave and the rooms are not air-conditioned. These are the only 2 negatives. The room was lovely and recently updated. It was modern, clean and included a small but adequate kitchen. The bed was comfortable and...
