Absolutely fantastic - the place, the views of the river, the location, the people & communication! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

The location of the apartment was excellent. Unfortunately the property itself was very run down and requires significant maintenance. For example, our bathroom sink drain did not work at all and water would pool in the sink. The old wooden floor was falling apart underneath our feet as we walked which made it loose and unsafe, especially for our small baby. Also extremely unhygienic. Additionally, upon our arrival we found that the kitchen or dining room table was filthy and had not been cleaned, also all of the kitchen utensils and plates and glasses were not properly cleaned. Overall though the place was okay with a very Central location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful in providing good recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to try around the area. We would recommend that they spend some money to conduct repairs to do some and maintenance on the property as well to ensure things are properly cleaned before new patrons stay.

This apartment is very pretty. However there is no air con despite the listing saying that there is. There is also no fan so the only option was to leave the windows open which meant we had some fat mosquitos and a LOT of noise. There was no top sheet on the bed, which was two singles pushed together and the 2 pillows were terrible. The TV

Location in thé lively heart of old city on pedestrian Rua das Flores ( cute restaurants and stores) was a daily pleasure. Easy walking access to all sites of interest, historic Riviera, churches and palaces and train and subway stations. Calm and functional apartment was open on a back side of building. Modern interior with large bathroom and shower. Only thing was limited shelf space in bedroom, a few simple shelves could be added. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful all throughout stay using WhatsApp messages.
