"I will never choose this property again. They are understaffed and can't even answer the phones. If you need anything basic, you will have to go down and stand on line. The employees totally agree with my disappointment and suggested to write it up. If you need to leave your car for a couple of days, all what they told me is " you have to look elsewhere. We can't accept parking beyond your stay. Not even a suggestion."

"I’m a bit of a hotel snob and was a bit worried about staying here on our 3 night trip to Porto. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I had read the reviews and had it in my mind it was going to be a run down, old hotel - but that wasn’t the case at all. The hotel is old but very well maintained. The staff was absolutely amazing and truly made things seamless during our stay. The valet concierge went above and beyond to make accessing our vehicle simple and quick. Ubers were about $10EU per trip to the city. We are so impressed with our stay, the breakfast and restaurant were great."

"When I arrived @ the property, I was informed, “that there was a problem with my room and would take me down the street to another property, for a room”. The ‘Other’ property was literally a Hostel, because that was actually in the hotel name. There were so many problems with the hostel, including inconsistent A/C, no toiletries, the exterior door leading to the wing our room was in, didn’t lock and was directly facing a dark road that felt like an alley in places. We felt unsafe to go to sleep. Finally, I asked the desk clerk @ the hostel, how often does this happen with that specific hotel and was is consistently due to them overbooking, and he said “yes, it happens with them often”. This is one of the most unacceptable situations that I’ve faced in my entire traveling life."
