"We were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room. The room and premises were gorgeous. Staff including the cultural activities were top notch we took full advantage of the pool area and water slides. The biggest inconvenience was trying to find a couple of chairs to relax and to keep our stuff while enjoying the pool. So many people reserve seats and don’t use the chairs. It was incredibly frustrating. I knew this from reading the reviews ahead of time and it was still frustrating as we tried to get an early start our second day and were still late to grab chairs. The adult pool is less crowded. "

"We loved our stay! Such a peaceful and beautiful setting to see upcountry Maui. You can see mountains and ocean from the front porch. The host was very sweet and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend. The view of the sunsets and a morning greating from the Alpacas was worth every penny."

"If you are looking for a kicked-back, upcountry bungalow, this property is it. This is not a sterile condo, it is a quirky, lush property on a 1-lane road (great for walking) about 15 minutes from major amenities. There is an on-site property manager who is very helpful but leaves you alone. The island and upland views are beautiful and ever-changing with the changing cloud cover. When the clouds lift at night, the stars are spectacular. Not for everyone but we loved it."
