"We stayed here with another couple for three nights and loved it! The condo was very clean and had a great selection of cooking supplies and spices. The BBQ worked well and had plenty of propane. The condo was also in a great location, and we had amazing ocean views from the balcony. It was very convenient to get to nearby beaches, and the South Maui Gardens food trucks were just minutes away! The only minor criticism we had was with the check-in communication. We arrived at the property early, around 2:00 p.m., and asked if an early check-in might be possible. The staff member told us they would call when the condo was ready or that we could check back at the normal 4:00 p.m. check-in time. When we returned at 4:00 p.m., there was a different staff member at the desk who wasn't aware of our earlier conversation or early check-in request. It wasn't a major issue by any means, but the communication between staff could have been a little better. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this condo!"

"Pros: - Friendly staff. - Great Location is you want to visit Hana/Mama's fish house. This location is not too far from the closest gas station (hana may not have gas) Cons: - This place is in the jungle, encountering bugs inside the room or bathroom is almost unavoidable. It is manageable but be prepared. - There is no daily housekeeping, and guests are required to complete several tasks before checking out (e.g., adhering to strict low speed limits on the driveway, stripping towels into the bathroom, and taking out all room trash)."

"This is a beautiful, quiet, and relaxing place to stay that offers a nice breakfast and lovely grounds with pool, jacuzzi, fire pits, and comfortable outdoor furniture. There’s a schedule of a variety of yoga classes over a week and areas conducive to meditation. That said, we never saw staff around other than at check-in and breakfast and wonder if they’re short on employees. We didn’t receive any room service over our 5 night stay, nor did we ask, and the beautifully designed grounds needed weeding. Those shortcomings didn’t diminish our experience and we do recommend it for what it does offer and for its location. Perhaps Lumeria was and could again be a jewel. It has such good bones and with a bit of attention and management could be exceptional."
