Best place to stay - super friendly staff, excellent breakfast

Without doubt possibly the best B & B I have stayed at. Irish hospitality t its best. Breakfast was amazing and a good variety for those who don't fancy an Ulster Fry to start their day. Our hosts were very sociable and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cakes to go with our in room refreshments were an absolute bonus. Would happily stay here again.

Room was lovely had what you need. It was quite cold but the weather was appalling therefore no fault of the room but I did get up at 3am and have to override the thermostat to put the radiator on. I would suggest thicker better quality towels for a 5 star rating but overall. Friendly helpful staff and spotless. Would come again and recommend to friends.

Great staff as always

We spent a couple of nights here when we were visiting relatives last week. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, while the foyer and various bar areas were welcoming places to relax with friends for a coffee or pint. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the bar on one night, which was good value for money; the food was tasty and portions generous. My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature.

We have a caravan in Portstewart but as the nighttime temperatures that weekend were freezing and below (January) we opted for the Hotel. We had a very relaxing stay (Saturday night only).
