The room was very nice. I was on the top floor, the 4th, and was not able to see the street because of a facade in front of the windows. But, there was good light with a rooftop and sky view. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the location was very good for getting to lots of attractions.

Talvez a Estação de São Bento seja a mais bonita estação de caminhos de ferro de Portugal. A vez anterior em que visitei a estação, alguns painéis de azulejos estavam em trabalho de restauro. Nesta última visita verifiquei, com satisfação, que o trabalho tinha sido concluído e pude assim contemplar os painéis em todo o seu esplendor.

Maybe São Bento Station is the most beautiful railway station in Portugal. The previous time I visited the station, some tile panels were in restoration work. A wonderful hotel, quiet hotel in the heart of Porto. Now out go to spot when we are in town. Out only annoyance on this trip was the hotel wanting an early check in fee of 30 euros even though our room was ready for us to occupy anyway.
