"Lovely room (1003) with river view. Air conditioning very efficient. Comfy bed and well stocked mini bar. Breakfast very good with lots of choices. Staff very helpful."

"Room was super clean and they provided all needed toiletries for shower. I didn't hear other people from other rooms but it is "isolating" in the room. No windows and it's a small space. No way around that. They do a really good job with lighting and the temperature control. There's no fan in the bathroom so be aware if you are sharing with someone. They do NOT officially allow bikes (bicycles) in the rooms. I was traveling for a ride across Portugal and found that out. Just FYI for those bike packers out there. Unless you want to have your bike in the lobby (not really a good place to lock it to) there's no where to secure the bike. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Great coffee, fresh juices, hot food, pastries, fresh fruit and cold meats and yogurts. Really, really good for 10 EURO if you pay the night prior for the breakfast."

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. When I checked in, they handed me a welcome drink, walked me to my room, gave me a tour of everything, and showed me how to use everything. The room its self was nice and spacious. It had a good desk for getting some work done. There was a great outdoor patio to sit on that felt secluded. Bathroom products (shamoo, conditioner, lotion, etc) were also very nice. AC worked very well."

"The hotel was convenient for our purposes but to be honest was a bit dated and tired. The room was a good size, with a big bed and a decent, if well used, bathroom with shower over bath. The restaurant was basic. Access into the basement car park (€15 supplement) was quite difficult to negotiate. They claim four stars but I would give three to be fair"

"Beautiful hotel with fantastic views over the river to Porto. Staff were very helpful - one team member conjured up tickets for a Champions League game, another sorted out a doctor to visit for my onset of back pain. Lovely rooftop bar/restaurant and the main dining venue was unfussy and full of flavour. Recommended!"
