We were on a high floor, but right below reception which is on the top floors, so it could become a little loud on the ceiling sometimes. Still worth it!"

"The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We had a basic double and it is very small, but perfect for a few days, very near Atocha train station. If we were to stay longer, we would likely book a larger room. The basic rooms face the inner courtyard. So while they are smaller and no balcony, they are very quiet, perfect after a long day of travel. We didn’t get the breakfast buffet, but the free tea and coffee was a nice plus. "

"The ascetic no-frills format of this Marriott Bonvoy hotel fits right into the hip Atocha barrio vibe even if there is only water available in the lounge area. Staff were very good and well-informed. But when amenities are minimal it’s a frustration if one of them, like the television for example, doesn’t work! "
