Classic Waterfront Maine Cottage

  • Fabulous classic camp on Wesserunsett Lake in Madison, Maine with a double waterfront lot, fireplace, outdoor fire pit, sandy beach, dock, canoe, and four kayaks. Great swimming and fishing, gradual entry for little ones, and directly across the lake from Lakewood Theatre, the oldest summer live theatre in the country. Five minutes to Skowhegan for shopping, restaurants, hospital care, golf course, and more. Public boat launch is available at the other end of the lake.The camp uses lake water so bring bottled water for drinking and cooking.

We had a great stay. I have been visiting this area annually for over 30 years and am very familiar with camp life. This property met all of our expectations. Very cozy, great location and great piece of property. Lots of room. It seemed more roomy than the pictures showed. The porch was an amazing place to have breakfast or to read a book while watching an amazing sunset. Would definitely book again!
