Find Hotels with Pool in Madikwe Game Reserve

Great location, friendly and attentive staff, unbelievable experience with the watering hole so close to lodge

Everything about the room was very good. The food was excellent and there is a good selection of included drinks to wash it down. The photography hide by the water hole gives you a great perspective to get pictures that a bit different from the usual safari shots. The game drives were first class. Our driver was knowledgeable and keen to make sure we saw a great selection of animals including, wild dogs, lions, cheetahs and rhinos. He could improve his jokes though.

We were fortunate to choose this game lodge and stayed for 4 nights in October. Our guide and tracker were exceptional and were able to find the big 5 with good viewings. In particular on this occasion we wanted to find leopard as we had previously missed out on these solitary wily cats but we were blessed with two sightings - once when the leopardess stepped out in front of our vehicle at night and on a second occasion hen spotted up a tree with her kill. we also made one long morning drive...

Excellent property. This was our second stay. We saw so many lions and cheetah thanks to our guide, Ignatius. We will return.
