We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. Everything was amazing. The food was delicious. The safari rides were unforgettable. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable. I was 6 months pregnant when I went and they were able to accommodate to me. We had great expectations - accommodation is 5 Star however lack of attention to detail brings this down to 4 Stars. Eg poor quality of shampoo and body lotion, a/c not working etc Food - plentiful but quality is not 5 Star - too salty. They may need to think about changing menu. Ran out of ice-cream and did not get any during our 3 night stay. Drives - morning and evening. We saw the big five - leopard only caught a glimpse of. Spent so much time just watching giraffe drinking water and not moving on to see other things which could not see from the lodge like wild dogs, a 'kill' rhinos etc. The sitings of the animals were staged managed - despite this we did not see anything exciting or exhilarating.
