The unique landscape of volcanic rock, historical vineyards, and Mount Pico jutting out of the center of the island are breathtaking. "Lovely small hotel, the staff couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are lovely and the location is excellent. We stayed here the night before climbing Pico and we were allowed to leave our bags and come back to the hotel the following day. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. It was one of our groups birthday whilst we stayed here and they made her feel very special. The sea is closeby if you want a swim and lots of lovely restaurants. The spa is excellent also. Thank you for having us, hopefully we will be back one day. "
