The best part of staying here is location to everything that Mackinaw has to offer. Easy walking distance to ferry, downtown, and beach. The staff was very helpful as well. The not so great things are the maintenance of the property and also the kids water park was colder then the lake.

The room was clean but a little outdated, the tv is very small, some tiles were coming off in the bathroom, the water in the shower never got truly warm. The website says breakfast is included but it’s actually not and they just give you coupons for restaurants around the area. The water park was nice, the bed was comfortable enough and the price of the room was great.

Game room had a few options but everything was not working or dusty. Cobwebs every where. The water park looked like it had great features but seemed dirty and rusty. Staff was nice! Rooms seemed small along with the queen beds. Stuff was stained. It was a place to sleep though and I've been to worse.

The water park was a hit with kids. Only difficulty was getting to it. You need to go to the third floor and go down stairs to get to it from the hotel. We found it easier to walk around the building and enter near the cabins. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows comfortable.

Plcace was clean. Workers were very nice ans helpful. Price was good. Until we had no working refrigerator in our room and no working ice machine on our floor. Nice water park and pool but only open for 5 hours. When a child is expecting to go to a pool and water park and it is not open ALL DAY it get to be a nagging situation.

This property was clean, quiet and convenient. Staff was nice and room was very comfortable. Things I noticed from others negative reviews, there is plenty of hot water it just takes a while to warm up, be patient. Yes you have to walk across a bridge to get to the waterpark/pool/hot tub, but it's an enclosed walkway on the 3rd floor, no big deal, not far and the entire water park has been renovated.

Friendly front counter employee. Water park was nice for young kids, but the water was super cold so my son did not want to play on that side. We enjoyed the pool instead. It was a maze to get over to it bc I didn't realize it was a different building then the hotel. We stayed 2 nights, it was nice to see fresh towels after the first night. I was uncomfortable that there wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed. It was 2 flat sheets, thin blanket and another sheet. I personally prefer a fitted sheet bc we toss and turn then now we are sleeping on the mattress protector which I know is most likely not cleaned between each stay. Otherwise it wasn't bad.

Have stayed here a few times, and the conditions were what I expected. Hot tub was not working the first night I stayed. That was disappointing. Hot tub and waterpark, were working the rest of my trip. Rooms are somewhat dated. Not very clean. We only stay here because of the waterpark for the kids. It’s OK for a few nights. Looked at a room at the Crown Choice next-door. Will be staying there next time.

Great location for walking right across the street to Armstrong ferry. They are dog friendly. We had a small dog and paid a $25 dog fee. Our room needed some love but was just fine for sleeping. We may have been given a dog friendly room so it may have been not as well kept as others. The lamp cord looked chewed on and some of the headboard lighting didn’t work. Would stay again for a stopover but nothing more.

Waterpark doesn’t open until 2 which is a bummer but the beach is across the way. Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms lack drying lines for wet clothes. The kitchenette that is advertised for the suite is nothing more than an average hotel room kitchen… it just has more cabinets. Do plan on bringing a hot plate if you want to cook in your kitchen. Staff are helpful and accommodating.

Our stay was very relaxing and quiet! They provide multiple coupons at the front desk for things to do around town. The hotel is very close to downtown, we didn’t have to drive for anything except to cross the bridge!
