Nice hotel near the station, buzzing restaurant and bar and lots of wine. Breakfast was comprehensive and plentiful, staff lovely, parking in station across the road was inexpensive, town has multiple dining and drinking options and is only a short walk away.

Staff was very friendly and helpful Bed mattress was not good, it’s was more like a sleeper sofa mattress No elevator for those that have heavy luggage, but if you are lucky you can ask front desk to bring it up stairs Breakfast is very good with fresh food and bread

We had the family room and it was spacious with one main room with double bed and desk and separate bedroom with double bed. Was relatively clean with some dust under the beds. Modern shower/toilet rooms although quite small. Directly across the street from the train station, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, we were there on a Tuesday and the restaurant and wine bar is closed that day so we did not have opportunity to eat or drink.

We found the room clean and comfortable although the heating/cooling unit in the room slightly noisy. An additional electric portable radiator was available in the room which maybe was there due to this issue. Staff very friendly and helpful. Using the railway station parking was only 7€ a day and only across the road so a better price than the on site price. The bar a great selection of wines as per the theme but also local beers and the normal selection of spirits.

I enjoyed the proximity to the train station. The hotel is located right next to Valkenburg train station and just 10 minutes by train from Maastricht train station. The double room was spacious. The walls are painted dark brown. They seem intimidating. The refrigerator didn't work. In the room I found three worried beetles. The price during the Vrijthof concerts in Maastricht is overpriced. Nevertheless, the hotel is a good option.

Across the street from RR station. 15 minute walk to main Christmas markets, excellent staff. RR Station unmanned Sunday mornings, which was a hassle when my train got cancelled and i had to "wing it" to get to Brussels.

Eigentlich ein schickes hotel in einem sehenswerten Ort, allerdings haben wir es als nicht wirklich sauber wahrgenommen. Es waren Wasserflecken an der Innenseite der Toilettentür, eingestaubte Fußleisten etc. Zum Frühstück gibt es jeden Tag das gleiche. Anders als bei Expedia dargestellt ist es kein besonderes sondern ein Standard Frühstück. Die Balkonstühle waren durchgesessen.

Hier is een nette, eerlijke review: ★★★☆☆ De locatie van het hotel is prima en het personeel dat ons uiteindelijk hielp was vriendelijk. We verbleven hier met een groep en hadden vijf kamers en vijf parkeerplaatsen gereserveerd. Bij aankomst werden we echter geholpen door een dame die nauwelijks Engels sprak en geen Nederlands. Ze was erg onvriendelijk en snauwerig in haar communicatie. Ze bleef volhouden dat ze onze reservering, die via Hotels.com was gemaakt, niet kon vinden. Ook ontkende ze meerdere keren dat er een parkeerreservering voor onze vijf auto’s was, terwijl die wel degelijk was gemaakt. Dit zorgde voor een erg vervelende en onnodig stressvolle start van ons verblijf. Gelukkig nam een jongeman het vervolgens over. Hij stond ons netjes en vriendelijk te woord, vond de reservering direct en loste alles snel op. Complimenten aan hem voor de professionele manier waarop hij de situatie heeft afgehandeld. De kamers zijn aan de kleine kant en de schoonmaak kan beter. We zagen op meerdere plekken stofvlokken en de afwerking had netter gekund. De airconditioning werkte in onze kamer niet optimaal, al moet daarbij gezegd worden dat het tijdens ons verblijf extreem warm was. Al met al een prima hotel op een goede locatie, maar de eerste indruk werd helaas behoorlijk verpest door de onprofessionele ontvangst bij de receptie. Met een vriendelijkere en beter getrainde medewerker was onze ervaring een stuk positiever geweest.

Voor de tweede keer het Wijnhotel bezocht, ditmaal iets groter balkon genomen. Prima kamer, lekkere wijntjes. Het weer viel wat tegen dus het buiten terras was dicht, maar binnen is het ook gezellig. Locatie is 10+, recht voor het station waar je in een zucht in Maastricht of Aken bent. Echt een aanrader, ook als je in Maastricht wilt verblijven waar de hotels veel duurder zijn.

Grootte van kamer is prima. Maar er ontbreekt wel wat inderhoud aan de badkamer. Deur van douche mist eem dtrip waardoor deze erg lekt. Massagestralen dasrvan werkt de helft ook niet. En jammer dat de kamer 2 eenpersoonsbedden heeft. Met sauna en badkamer en suite zullen er alleen stelletjes gebruik van maken en dan is een kingsizebed geen overbodige luxe.
