"The property is spacious and comfortable. It is very open with lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were decent size. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with new sauté pans while this can be an issue at other properties. We cook a lot and found a few essentials missing but informed host. The property lacks outdoor furniture and a BBQ grille main reason for r star rating."

"I planned a surprise overnight getaway for my hubby. I was very excited about this place but that feeling quickly fizzled. I was actually disappointed in this very spacious cottage. The bed was lumpy and the linen was dingy. The caulking in the bathroom looked like it had been applied by a 5 year old. We never could get the ac to kick on. Paid way too much for this sub par room/cottage. "

"Olympia Lodge was a great stay for our Monterey weekend trip. Property was clean and lobby was nice. Limited hours due to staffing shortages so i would recommend checking in before 6pm. Breakfast was provided and the double queen room was spacious and even had a patio. Loved the spacious closet as well! Only thing was no hand soap provided, walls are thin, and parking was limited. There is free street parking on the street of where the hotel is located so it worked out. There is even a ice cream shop next to the hotel. Overall i would recommend this hotel if you want to be super close by the aquarium, fishermans wharf, beaches and Carmel, CA +17-mile drive. "

"My room had bugs all over the fireplace. I checked in late on a busy weekend so my alternative options were limited, but I couldn’t wait to check out. Will not be back. "

"A little confusing to find the pool, it was in a different building so you have to leave the main building and walk across a walkway to access to pool/ spa and gym. Not a big deal but unexpected."

"Wilderness cabin environment feel to the hotel. This hotel divides condos into separate spacious rooms with king beds, large bathrooms, walk-in closet with a small frig and coffee makers. The beds and linen was soft, warm and comfortable. The area was quiet and relaxing as if place in the middle of a forest. Enough FREE parking for each guest. I will return! Breakfast was good. There’s fresh waffles, cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee, fruit, boiled eggs, beds to toast, and other delicious choices to choose from."
