"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. I did notice the laundry as one of the amenities however to us that means an available washed and dryer to use. Understanding now here in Italy that means a washing machine and hang to dry. "The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. "Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is well located close to the bridge between the old and new towns. It offers a great breakfast and spacious rooms. Ours had a view of the Mare piccolo. The very friendly staff helped us with car parking and were very attentive to our needs. We chose Taranto as a base to visit other towns but didn't venture away because we loved spending time here. Restaurants are plentiful and the main shopping strip is a five minute walk away. The museum and the Castle are equally close."

"We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Trulli and the pool were both amazing! Lucia, the property manager, was always available and ensured our stay was as pleasant as possible with some nice recommendations. Everything in the Truilli was well thought out and we only had a couple of minor issues. The BBQ didn't work as well as we'd have expected but we believe that given the feedback this will be fixed for future guests. Overall we would fully recommend this Trulli!"

"Stunning setting with a fantastic pool area, staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and although they didn’t state on their menus that there are kids options, as they are published that evening when the chef has completed it, they do. The kids both had chicken schnitzel and chips, but could have had pasta also among other options. Breakfast typically Italian, cakes, pastries and fruits but also a range of cereals including muesli and bacon and egg. Room was spacious and cool, we were there in 32 degrees, but we were extremely comfortable."
