Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, the Rhone river is a 5 minute walk and the magnificant Park de la Tete d'Or is about ten minutes north. The lobby, breakfast area and rooms are kept very clean. The continental breakfast is good and reasonably priced. Not a luxury experience, but a very good value. Is says on website it is dated and I agree however the bed was fantastic size of room good and staff super friendly and super helpful. I belive the price was probably a little more than I wanted to pay but glad we stayed there just for the interaction with staff. Bruits de pas appuyés et récurrents au-dessus durant les deux soirées, heureusement que cela n'était pas toute la nuit !), matelas et oreiller à changer. Vieille moquette foncée qui ne donne pas confiance sur la propreté. Salle de bain à refaire (joints au sol sales ou vieux ?), douchette de la baignoire inefficace si vous avez les cheveux longs. For a short trip, this hotel was ideal for me. The location is great (close to a metro station), service was perfect and general comfort fine. While the furniture is a bit older, it was well maintained and absolutely clean. The room is rather small, but sufficient with a small working desk.
