A good short break

the one downstairs bedroom had no view which was sad, but no stairs, which was good! The TV was faulty and was fixed the next day, but then stopped working again. The breakfasts were amazing. The public car park was up a steep hill and pricey. The hotel had no out-side space, but the beautiful public gardens were very close

Wonderful!!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were so cheerful, helpful and lovely. The breakfasts were very good and not overwhelmingly huge like some can be! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the rainfall shower.

Wonderful place for a holiday

The staff was simply wonderful, catering to my every need. (The room didn't have a desk, but they let me use the breakfast room briefly to send those necessary proof of life emails to family.). The food was good. The location was superb.

Great little hotel.

A lovely small hotel a short walk to central Lyme Regis and the beach. Helpful staff and a very comfortable room with lots of extra thoughtful touches. Breakfast was very good. Parking was just a short walk up the hill. Be warned that Lyme Regis is hilly. I would go back.

Wonderful weekend away

Wonderful, comfortable, clean and friendly place. Good fresh breakfast each day. Great location to get into town or down onto the beach. Paid parking in a big carpark just a bit further up the hill.

Second time here- lovely little place

This was our second time here,i would happily stay again. The staff were lovely and friendly breakfast was great and the room nice and comfortable. The long stay car park just at the top of the hill is reasonable cheap and not too far away. The hotel location is great,quick access to the tiered garden which is a handy shortcut to some of the restaurant on the seafront as well as being lovely to sit in.

The property is a standard b and b in a good location for local amenities. There is no dedicated parking. The room was acceptable; compact and bijou. It could do with some care and maintenence; as could the exterior paintwork. The "en-suite" is merely a corner of the room sectioned off and therefore small. The breakfast was sparce and poorly prepared. It seems that little effort was put into the 4 option menu and little application put into the cooking. How difficult is itto poach 1 egg?

We loved our stay here. so well situated for Lyme, beautifully quiet and so comfy. The breakfast was delicious , a wonderful selection of healthy, well prepared food. A real treat!

Beautifully situated to enjoy Lyme Regis. Lovely welcoming staff, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The wifi was not functioning reliably. Some electrical sockets in the room were not functioning and some not secure. Otherwise first class.

Definitely book a stay at the Lyme Townhouse! Holmbush long stay Car Park is just a short walk away and proves great value to park for just £2 for 24 hours. We arrived and were given a great welcome by the very friendly Mike who helped with our luggage and he soon explained what’s what, where and when etc whether it be around the guest house or for when you head into the town, which is just a 2 minute walk downhill (& a 5 minute walk back uphill!). You are given the choice of 4 different breakfasts (we tried them all once during our 4 night stay!) and what time you would like it. This is a really clever way of ensuring that breakfast time is not chaotic and stressful, but calm, enjoyable and organised. Mike and Jackie, happily look after you and a number of other choices (fruit, yoghurt, pastry items) are available. Teas, Coffee, and Water are both available in your room (& biscuits) as well as in the communal area. The building is a little quirky as it is crooked in places! Do book! You’ll meet Mike and Jackie (big THANKS to both) we’re glad we did. Lesley & Steve.
