"We ended up getting an upgrade into one of the two bedroom two bathroom pillows due to the renovation on the main hotel. We were pleasantly surprised we felt like we were home. It was so nice so relaxing. Everything was amazing and we could literally walk right across the street to get something to eat at fresh salt or at the choo-choo lounge views of the water at home field by having a full kitchen and laundry felt like a great little mini vacation we’ve been there before and we will be back again. Bravo."

"Awesome stay and perfect location for our off season weekend exploring Mystic aquarium and Essex steam trains. Hosts were very easy to reach and helpful. Across from beach, but you can’t actually access until you get to public beach .5 miles away, which was fine but unexpected. Also a couple amenities weren’t perfect, but totally would not affect my decision to rent here again. Very clean and updated! Loved it!"

"Parking easy. Staff helpful. Did not have breakfast there. Rooms small. No staff on duty overnight. No phones in room. No TVs on premises. Pricey for what you get."

"Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. Anyway, it was an expensive lesson for my further travels using VRBO as I would only consider a place like this to flop over night."

"This is a must property for any vacationer traveling to Long Island. You will fall in love with quiet evenings after delightful beach walks. Don’t forget the therapeutic ocean air! Within very short walking distance, you are near The Pavilion and the famous Kokomo’s Restaurant. Kokomo’s is the best ocean restaurant in Old Lyme for a reason, with fantastic ocean views and an unmatched family dining experience. As Old Lyme begins its long-awaited restoration project, this beach apartment will continue to please. Don’t miss out!"
