Pier Blue Inn Old Saybrook - Essex
10/10 Excellent
"Great location & convenient to everything. Shawn (I believe his name was) was so helpful & friendly! Older place but was good for 1 night."
Liberty Inn
8/10 Good
"Everything was good. The only problem I had was the very strong smell of either cleaning products or air spray."
Waterfront Getaway! Cozy Cottage in Picture-Perfect Setting, Old Lyme, CT
10/10 Excellent
"Was a great stay very cute property and quiet neighborhood. Stores nearby and easy to access. Friendly and helpful host."
The Beach House - Old Lyme
10/10 Excellent
"The beach house is very nice. Makes you feel like you’re on vacation at the beach. Everything was very nice and clean. We had all the essentials we needed. The host was very easy to get in contact and very quickly responded. It was a really enjoyable vacation."
Long Island Sound Studio
10/10 Excellent
"The studio is very private with incredible views of the Sound. We loved exploring the beach, watching the osprey and heron, and falling asleep to the sound of crickets chirping in the field. It's perfect for a single person or couple."
Private Guest House Near the Beach • 1BR / 1.5BA
10/10 Excellent
"Jon and Erica were excellent hosts and everything was as described. The property is clean, well maintained, bright and sunny. The kitchen space is excellent for cooking and having a washer/dryer was key! Plenty of cooking supplies provided and also the bed and bedroom were very spacious. The walk-in closet is a nice touch as well. This is also a very reasonably priced rental and located centrally to many shops, restaurants and the beach. This is one of the best rental options in old lyme and can't recommend this enough. Zero issues with noise and a wonderful neighborhood!"
Driftwood Cottage @ Saybrook Point Marina, 2 King Beds
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage is great - very comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated. The primary suite in the loft is really lovely. The location is also a plus - we walked along the sound, ate lobster rolls at Liv’s and walked to Old Saybrook town center for dining and shops - great neighborhood- quiet and quaint."
The Nest at Black Hall
8/10 Good
"Incredible host who was responsive and communicated well. Was able to provide us with accommodations for our daughter who is two years old. It’s a fantastic property for water activities and they even had a little music one of the nights we stayed. Just as a caution for parents it’s right by a major roadway that has constant traffic and you will need to mask the noise of cars overnight. We did so with the provided fan in the room and our own white noise machine. Was nice to wake up to the water every morning and if you are able to take advantage of the kayaking/canoing they have friendly staff. We spent the majority of our stay running around the area doing beach trips and going to mystic. But compared to the prices other offered this is a nice deal and very quiet on the weekends to enjoy the sunshine. Having stayed in many Air B N B’s this was our first VRBO. Shawn was by far the most accommodating and relaxed host we have had to date. May become our new family spot for the future summer shoreline trips."
