My partner and I stayed here for an impromptu night over and wished we had stayed for longer now! The staff were so friendly and the food was incredible, there was a real homely feel to the place and the grounds are stunning. Easy parking too which is a plus. It’s only a 3 minute drive from a petrol station too. We recommend: - ordering the “ultimate burger” - saving room after dinner for one of their ice cream sundaes - ordering a local cider and sitting on the swing bench in the garden

Parking is expensive £10 per night. Entrance to hotel car park could be better sign posted. No desk or dressing table in the room, had to use small table to put jewellery, keys, & drinks on. Tea & coffee making facilities are in the corridor not the room. Had heck of a job to connect wifi, had to ask reception in the end. Soundproofing not great. Bed was big and comfy, pillows were lush! Funky lighting on mirrors was nice & room was spotlessly clean but overall I was disappointed with my stay.
