There are monkeys and parrots and cuckoos in the trees and it is very lush and green. Inside is not so great. Water pressure was marginal for the shower- just a trickle. The bed was a plastic-encased hard mattress covered with a top sheet. The AC and the WiFi worked, but this was not worth the price at all. The condition of the rooms is totally shoddy. The beds extremely uncomfortable. No bedside lamps. No shower mat so the floor is very slippery. I could go on and on. There has been clearly no maintenance to this hotel. The staff on the whole were surly with a couple of exceptions. We paid over $100 a room which is an absolute rip-off. $30 would have been too much. They wanted 650 K for a taxi transfer to the airport.
