"Very homely minsu with a superb breakfast the traditional Taiwanese way. Room was big and comfortable with fabulous sheets- bed size was king size for us in the quadruple room. "Liou Lian Ke Zhan Hotel is certainly not luxurious, but I had a great stay here. The location is good, just a few blocks from the Luodong train station and an easy walk to the night market. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The TV has lots of English (and French and Korean) channels. The hot water takes a little while to warm up, but once it does, the shower is good and hot with excellent water pressure. The proprietors are very friendly. Miss Ding, who checked me in, didn't seem to speak any English at all, but it didn't matter. She was able to convey everything necessary to me using a translation app on her phone. The only thing missing that I would have liked is a kettle in the room to heat water. This was absent, but hot water was available in the lobby, along with an assortment of drinks, some of which were free, and for others there was a 'Donation Box' and a sign listing suggested donations for different items. This system works well because they don't have anyone at the lobby desk late night and early morning (so make sure you have your key card with you when you leave). The hotel is located on the 8th floor of a building with several different hotels. If the lift doors open and you see a sign that says "Boutique Hotel", you're in the right place."

"Excellent location! Walking distance to train station, night market, and parks. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very helpful and friendly.
