On the fourth floor (with lift) of a recent development, this 2-bedroom flat sleeps 6 people. The rooms all lead off a spacious hallway and there are wooden floors throughout. The bright living room has a large window and a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. The balcony has a table and chairs, for guests to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee al fresco. In the living room, there is a large sofa (which converts into a double bed), a Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 6 chairs. There is plenty of space for people to relax with friends or work in comfort. The immaculate, modern kitchen has everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. A large glass door leads out onto another balcony. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and spacious storage. Bedroom 2: An airy bedroom which has 2 Single beds, a large fitted wardrobe and drawers and an en suite bathroom. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: Next to the master bedroom this stylish bathroom has a glass shower, large basin, bidet and WC. Location Lugano is famous for its stunning location, nestling between the beautiful Lago Lugano and the foothills of the Alps. On the borders of Switzerland and Italy, it has a rich cultural heritage of which it is justifiably proud. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. There are many festivals throughout the year, including “Luganomusica” every summer. The apartment is in a quiet, but extremely central part of Lugano. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, is just a 5-minute walk away. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square, Piazza della Repubblica (8 minutes walk). The piazza is lined with many excellent cafés and restaurants. For guests who want to self-cater, the farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk) is the place to go to pick up the best local ingredients. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Not much in the way of the little things that you would expect in a place that isn’t a hotel room. Salt & pepper in the kitchen, extra dish towel, something to wipe up with like paper towels or extra dish towel or cloth. If I’m renting a house, I’m planning to do meals in and use the kitchen, otherwise I’d get a hotel. There’s a nice little nail salon at the end of the street, and grocery store and everything else close too. ##### Lori L. There was no shower gel, paper towels, or hand soap and very little dishwasher liquid. After contacting the host about having trouble getting into the place, only 1 fan, and door would not open to get in the deck (which was one if the reasons we booked there) i’d say the start of was not great. The host did bring a fan over with a bottle of wine which we appreciate. The the door was never opened so we were not able to use the deck. The neighborhood is a bit nosy at night and we needed to leave the windows open because it was so hot. Place was clean and modern. ##### Michelle E.
