"This is an older building. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners are working on the exterior. There is no pool. No free breakfast. If you need a place to sleep the beds are comfortable and new. The shower has hot water."

"GREAT STAY. This is a wonderful old historic (refurbished) downtown building, now a hotel with a tap room and restaurant. Great location. Walking distance to the Amtrak station, a selection of additional restaurants nearby, art galleries and antique shops in the downtown. A lot of western history here. This establishment is a loving work in progress with great potential for the future. As of today everything is fully operational, we wanted for nothing during our stay. Enough modern touches to provide a very comfortable experience. Excellent communications with the staff. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Coffee and microwave provided in the lobby, a referigerator in the room. Highly recommended, you will not find better in Trinidad!"

"Well taken care of property with a spacious cabin. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed our time in the peace and quiet away from town. The front porch is screened in and gives you awesome views of the mountains. There are two trails you can walk not far from the cabin. Communication with the host was flawless. My wife and I plan to stay at this cabin again in the future. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic log cabin experience"
