Our “Cowboy” cabin is for any and everyone, not just Cowboys! The name comes from the entrance of the property where there are silhouettes of a Cowboy and Cowgirl!
Plenty of room to roam outside around the cabin. We have 70 acres for you to explore and hike. (But please be mindful of neighbors) Also, because of our remote location there is wildlife that roam thru the property so don’t be surprised if you wake up to wildlife off the front porch! **During the wet/snowy times all-wheel drive is highly suggested as the last 5ish miles to the cabin are dirt road and can get slick**

Host had absolutely everything we could need for our stay many little things were included and appreciated. Very clean secluded property and will recommend and return. Enjoyed the beautiful fireplace the most. We toured the area and there was plenty to see and do came back to the cabin to rest and enjoy all the conveniences.
If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay and recharge this is the place! The cabin is beautiful and the views are stunning! We had the best time enjoying the quiet and the crisp mountain air! We will definitely be back!
It was such a quiet, peaceful place to spend a week. Everything we needed was available, and the kids had a blast playing board games and playing in the snow.
My wife and I love this property. We keep coming back again and again. It is always so peaceful and relaxing, and we always feel recharged after our stay. We'll be back very soon!
Lovely, spacious cabin with room for everyone, with thoughtful details throughout (cozy blankets, stocked game cabinet, movies galore, lovely toiletries). Great kitchen with lots of equipment!
The location was perfect—quiet, private, amazing starry skies and gorgeous mountain views out every window!
Met here for a family/friends "Hallmark Christmas" getaway and this place delivered! It was absolutely beautiful and decorated for Christmas. Everything was above and beyond my expectations! It was clean and very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing experience and will definitely visit again
Never been to a vacation rental so thoroughly appointed for guests, including little touches like Keurig pods, Bluetooth speaker, water bottles by the beds, etc. But the main thing is the lovely house surrounded by forest with views of the Spanish Peaks. Such a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
Great communication with the owner as well.
Seriously, this place is flawless.
This property is 100% what it is said to be...AMAZING! Our family of 5 decided to come up for a relaxing time over spring break and we were not disappointed. Erin provides so many accommodations and definitely shows pride in the property. The cabin was spacious offering seclusion, and the view is magnificent. The trails were great and the sky at night is mesmerizing. Watching the deer cross the yard in the early morning while drinking a glass of coffee on the porch is so calming. We will definitely be returning!
Our family of 5 came to Erin’s cabin for a few days over spring break. Our 3 kids, ages 8-11, loved the cabin, exploring the hiking trails throughout the property, and watching the wildlife in the area. The attention to detail was incredible - plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and all of the essentials needed when staying in a remote location. We brought groceries and cooked most of our meals, other than a visit to Spanish Peaks Bar & Grill. Erin's communication was excellent throughout and the wifi worked great for us, which was helpful because we did not have much cell signal at all in the area.Thank you, Erin!
We celebrated our third trip to the cabin for Christmas and New Year’s Eve…. No words can describe the magic we shared! Thank you to our host for providing the setting to our most memorable family holiday ever. The stars…. The Christmas dusting of snow…. The sunrises!!! This cabin gives EVERYTHING
It was an amazing pick. Cabin secluded in the hills with views of the Spanish peaks. Everything you need is there. 40 min drive into Trinidad. They have snacks, and we left snacks for the next visitors. We left candy, popcorn, and some sodas for movie night. They also have board games and movies. We grilled burgers and with those views! We appreciated the privacy. We can’t wait to come back.
Absolutely beautiful property and cabin. Far enough away to give you isolation but close enough to town or Trinidad if you wanted to do some shopping. Easy walking trails and plenty of breathtaking views. Cannot wait to head back in April.
I want to thank Erin and the cleaning crew. I messed my dates up and already made plans to check-in on Monday when we weren't supposed to be there till Tuesday. I messaged Erin in a panick on Saturday and a few hours later, had a Monday check-in. I could have been told that the cabin wouldn't be ready till Tuesday or that you booked the dates. Instead Erin wanted to check with the cleaning crew and ask if they could have the cabin ready and they said yes. Erin went above and beyond for my wife and I when she didn't have to and for that I'm very grateful.
This cabin was just perfect. It was a wonderful peaceful retreat and nice escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The views were incredible and the Spanish Peaks were breathtaking at sunset. The walking trail around the property was a nice added bonus. The house itself was beautiful. There were so many small touches that really put the experience over the top. The kitchen was kind of a random selection of pots and pans but we were able to find what we needed to make dinner. The grill outside was fantastic. Plenty of dishes and silverware so none of that was a problem. It was pretty warm when we were there and as the sun started to set as we cooked dinner the house got a bit warm. There is an AC and it definitely helped keep the house comfortable the rest of the time. I think it would benefit from another AC unit upstairs during those warmer times. It cooled off at night though so opening the windows helped a great deal. Overall it was such a great experience and a great place we have already started talking about our plans for next year.
And I have to add that the owner Erin was impeccable with communication. I felt like I had a lot of questions and she was easy to reach and responded quickly and seemed so incredibly kind through our messages. We feel so grateful they open up their home for others to experience this truly special piece of property.
This was our 4th trip to the cabin. Did a bit more driving than our previous stays to see more of the surrounding areas. A great place to stay and can't wait to visit again.
Loved the location. Great place to stay. Could use a handrail on steps to dining room. If someone has a hard time with stairs, this might be a challenging apartment. But it is lovely and located so close to Harrod's and several great places to eat.
