Top Lucille Lortel Theatre Hotel Reviews
NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
10/10 Excellent
"The location was perfect, the staff was very helpful and kind, the room was clean and comfy, the restaurants in the hotel were great, and I really couldn’t ask for a better experience. Definitely recommend the place and am looking forward to returning in the future myself."
Soho Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful long weekend in the city with my daughter. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with a great view. Excellent location for shopping and dining, amd very walkable - we walked to a show in the theater district with stops for shopping and dinner - a perfect summer evening! Staff was helpful and friendly. Jonathan took great care to hold our bags upon arrival and departure, and got us settled into our room. Would stay again!"
Washington Square Hotel
8/10 Good
"4 night stay in August. First and most important FABULOUS location. Felt safe and was 10 mins walk to Soho/West Village. Major bonus was the freebie breakfast every morning. Tea, coffee, juice & lovely mini pastries - a great start to the day and very welcome as we were shocked at the NYC prices for everything 😳. Room was comfortable and plenty of amenities. Only two things I would change - a better view from our window (or A view would have been nice) and a bar in the hotel (which is closed at the moment for renovation). Would defo stay here again for location and breakfast."
The Dominick
10/10 Excellent
"The Dominick is great & one of our favorite places to stay in the city. The elevators on the other hand are a nightmare. Friday night the line was wrapped from the elevators to around the corner to the middle of the lobby. You spend all your time waiting on one to arrive & specific ones go to specific floors. The service elevators were out also so that added to the problem. Everyone including staff complained about them."
Gansevoort Meatpacking
10/10 Excellent
"We had a really great stay, everyone was wonderful. We were there to celebrate our son’s birthday. He wanted to stay in a fancy hotel and have breakfast in bed. The staff especially Kori at the front desk went above and beyond to make this happen and make him feel special. The pool was great. Only downside is no coffee from the server at the pool and the roof top bar was closed to a private party our first night and just closed the second night. We will stay again on next trip to the city. Thanks!!"
Chelsea Pines Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Location is fantastic. Clean, respectful staff, cozy beds and space.. all you need. Comman space with small kitchen for coffee and such with a little backyard was cute. The stairs may be difficult for those with mobility constraints but I normally take the stairs anyway so had no problem."
West Village Eurohostel
8/10 Good
"The room whilst being about as small as a closet was more than sufficient for exploring New York and having somewhere to crash at the end of the day. It was the cheapest option available i could find close to all the action and the novelty of having to sleep in a bunk bed in New York was worth it i think. It was a nice aesthetic with the wood theme and in the end It was a fun experience so though it wasn't luxurious i definitely enjoyed it more then i would have enjoyed a normal boring room."
Hotel 309
8/10 Good
"It was a GREAT stay. The location is wonderful, and compared to other hotels in NYC, very affordable. The room was just fine, enough space for me and my 2 late teen kids - my son and I slept in 1 bed, daughter in the other. Decent neighborhood, clean enough in the hotel, air conditioner worked fine. The bathroom was actually quite nice, great shower! If you're looking for a place to sleep at night after tromping around the city all day that doesn't break the bank - THIS IS IT! If you want more than that out of your hotel room in NYC you'll need to go elsewhere and spend more money. The staff was great, not very present, but also not in the way- and happy to help. The small refrigerator was constantly dripping with condensation - which was a drag. Overall the perfect place for us :-) I recommend it if you want a deal, can handle an older style room and will spend most of your time out and about."
