Despite this it is quiet and we slept really well. There’s a lovely small balcony off one of the bedrooms with great rooftop views. This may be the nicest rental I have ever stayed at. It is located in the center of Lucca. It is elegant in style and well provided in function (cooking utensils, laundry, etc). But getting luggage there is difficult due to driving restrictions within the wall. And there are 74 steps to climb up to the apartment (I counted). At 65, the climb was hard. It is not for those with health issues. But if you are younger and healthy, it is great. Oh, once you unload your bags, parking is convenient and reasonably priced, even if a few minutes walk distant. I highly recommend this apartment. ##### Frank I.
