The location could not be better and it's a dream for art lovers. The buildings next-door features from Medieval to Baroque Architecture and the main town squares are just a short stroll away! L-shaped sofa, a custom designed rug on polished wooden flooring, bespoke shelving and cabinetry with wall-mounted TV and a wood fireplace as well as several windows overlooking the magnificent medieval towers of Lucca search as TORRE GUINIGI. The Kitchen is fully equipped and provided with a wide range of cooking utensils. Washing machine and clothes dryer are provided. The two bathrooms both have showers. Air conditioning and a very reliable internet connection complete the list of equipment. The apartment is on the second floor and requires climbing three flights of stairs to reach it, plus an additional flight within the apartment, totalling 62 steps. Please note that there is no elevator. Everything in the apartment was as described, and when the electricity tripped (our fault), Chiara was quick to respond. The stairs are steep going into the apartment, but you get used to them. The terrace was brilliant for reading it was rather hot when we were there, but in cooler months, it would be lovely to eat outside. Nothing, the apartment and the communication prior, during and afterwards was excellent. We enjoyed our stay, especially the rooftop terrace and the short ways to restaurants, shops and the attactions of the city. In the flat was a detailed booklet with touristic tips inside and outside the walls - a lot of which we tried and were totally satisfied. The rooms are fully equipped and nicely furnished. The quality of the towels was above normal standards, the whole flat was super clean. All organisational aspects (communication, arrival instructions, check-in etc.) were perfectly managed. Great view, location, and the apartment is updated with a washer and dryer.
