Located in a quiet area, on the 2nd floor of a small condominium inhabited by nice people. In 4-5 minutes walk you can reach the apartment comfortably by the very station, even if you have luggage is not a problem. The apartment has a large living room with terrace, a large kitchen, a large bedroom with double bed and another bed, another smaller bedroom with average bed, bathroom with shower, plus another smaller bathroom adjacent to the kitchen. Moreover, if necessary, in the living room you can use a sofa bed. It is equipped with tv-color and Wifi Internet connection in Super Fiber and unlimited traffic. So it is also very suitable for a family as it can sleep up to 5 people, if you want even 6 if there are children. For those with a car, no problem, the external parking is free and you do not have to pay the parking. During the night you can park in the condominium square. The apartment has been completely renovated in 2015 and tastefully furnished, a mixture of antique and modern, and clean. E 'can of course use the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or else in the area it is easy to find bars, restaurants, pizzerias and grocery stores, and the supermarket. The old town of Lucca is easily reached on foot. In fact, the train station is a 5-minute walk, then through the underpass characteristic of Lucca's walls leads directly to the historical center of the city, starting right from the walls which surround the city, 4 km of tree-lined avenues destination for daily walks, then immediately the Cathedral and continuing for the other charming medieval corners that the city is sure to appreciate. Due to the nearby train station, it is an excellent base for excursions in the area. In 20-30 minutes by train or car you can reach Versilia (the sea with the city of Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, etc..), The historic town of Pisa (Square of Miracles, Leaning Tower, etc.), the town of Montecatini Terme famous for, the town of Pinocchio (Collodi) with puppets park, and stretching a bit 'the path (either by car or by train) you can reach the Garfagnana area. ## Property amenities ### Beach - Great supermarket a 15 minute walk - we really enjoyed cooking in the apartment as an alternative to eating out in Lucca. If you want to stay in Tuscany I highly recommend this little shanty home. It was clean close to transportation and the walls of old Lucca. We checked out the historic little town and took trips to Pisa and Florence ( Florence was about an hour and 20 min away by train). It it was so nice to come back to a quiet place to stay. What a lovely, well kept and comfortable apartment. So close to the historic centre and \~500m from the train station. Quiet and relaxing with plenty of space. The owner does a great job of keeping it very cozy and livable, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Just a short walk to the train station and city also made it a great location that was quiet and relaxing. The owner also went above and beyond for us, picking us up at the train station, and finding a good place for us to have dinner that night, and driving us there. Thank you! We were met at the station by Giuseppe and he and Roberta showed us the apartment and were available if we had needed any help. It was quite a short walk to the station for our trips, and less than a mile into Lucca town centre - the highlight was climbing the Guinigi Tower. The flat was very comfortable and well-equipped with constant hot water and all the kitchen utensils we needed. When we left, Giuseppe kindly drove us back to the station to save us trundling our cases! ##### Nick S. The only dirt in the house is what we brought in. The house is roomy and comfortable for a family of 4 or even 5\. We very much appreciated that Roberto and Giuseppe came to the train station to pick us up, which saved us a lot of time from looking for the house. The Google map didn’t give the correct directions and didn’t know the passages within the train station and back entrance. If we followed the map and didn’t meet Roberto and Giuseppe, it would have taken us quite a long time to get to the house. The bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise and joyful welcome for us. Although the house is outside the Lucca wall, it is so convenient to everything. Its close distance to the train station made our day trip to Pisa and Florence so easy. Ottima posizione vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, la quale non è stata di nessun fastidio. L'appartamento si trova a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalle mura di Lucca. Proprietari disponibilissimi e cordiali. Appartamento pulito. Città molto bella e da visitiare (meritano sicuramente la cattedrale e la casa Natale di Puccini -- poi la mostra di Passani iniziata proprio lo scorso fine settimana è stata una bella sorpresa).
