I feel like we greatly overpaid for this room. The room was not in great shape. We were told there was linens for the sofa bed and there were not. There were stains in the shower and the beds were not comfortable. I would expect to pay somewhere under $100 for a roll of that quality.

The best part of the check in was Tammy at the front desk. We arrived late and she was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Jaime at the bar couldn't have been more friendlier while catching a few minutes of the NBA game. The morning staff was helpful as well. Texas Tech is a short Uber drive or walk away. The only ding I’d say is it would be great if Marriott provided a shuttle to the Texas Tech area. Definitely recommend staying here for your next visit to the Lubbock/Texas Tech area.

I love staying here. It’s convenient to the Tx Tech campus when I go to see my son play football. I don’t like the price gouging they do. There is no reason a night in Lubbock, Texas should be upwards of $200. The hotel is nice but not that nice. I know all about supply and demand but it really is ridiculous.

It was okay, but not what I expect from a Marriott property. We had multiple towels with holes, frays, or tears. We had a reservation for three people, and had a room with a couch pullout, but no sheets or blankets for the pullout. The hotel also apparently “ran out” of pillows, which is interesting. So, even after we went down to the front desk for the sheets and blankets, there were no pillows for the pullout. Would be difficult to consider returning to this property.

Nickel and dime place, hidden charges a phantom charge of 120 after check in and stay paid for, then 5 days afetr trip over another 64 dollar charge for parking. Not under a roof just the front of property parking. Making money out of nothing, very subpar breakfast the worst i ever seen, clean place to eat but if cereal is your thing you be ok. Staff unfrienfly not helpfull not accomodating any needs, had to cut trip short 4 days refuse to consider a partial refund or even to check, unable to get an invoice for the stay to make my expenses, keep passing the buck around. No one knows nothing and everything was for later then forgot about it. The worst experience my company was going to bring another employees to stay there. We needed coverage at work for 3 months…. After my advice company decided to go to another property even it was 100 dollars more but with real breakfast included and with invoice to report expense, free parking Embassy suites is the real deal Residence inn was very bad. Stay away from it.
