Good hotel in a great location. Liked the breakfast restaurant but the food offering was the same every day. However, there is an a la carte selection so happy enough for the three days we were there. The double bed was two singles pushed together. The toilet would be tight for anyone overweight or not flexible. The veranda was nice and a good place to relax on when we returned after sight seeing. If I ever go back to Luang Prabang I would be happy to stay there again.

Excellent room with a balcony overlooking the Mekong river. Bedding is comfortable. The best surprise is the breakfast location outdoors along the bank of the Mekong river. Very pretty and relaxing. Delicious pure fruit juices and fresly baked croissants and baguettes worthy of Paris.

I absolutely loved staying at the Mekong Riverview Hotel. It was in a great location, came with a free breakfast that was very nice, the woman in charge and her family did an incredible job of taking care of everybody’s needs and providing a great experience for all of us staying there. I actually felt like a member of their family by the time I left. If I came back to Nong Khiaw , I would only stay with them and not even consider another place. I’m still thinking about the wonderful time I had there.

Wonderful welcome to a beautiful hotel! Staff were so helpful and our rooms were excellent. The style of the hotel was traditional Laos and not modern but everything worked and looked great!

We've stayed in the Mekong Riverview Hotel several times over the past 7 years and it continues to be a lovely place to spend time. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable and we love the large balconies. The friendly staff are a highlight and they always do their best to accommodate any request you have. Breakfast is simple but delicious and comes with lovely views at the riverside restaurant. Note: I recommend requesting a second floor room as vans tend to park out front during the day and block the river view from the balcony.
